How does you game fit the theme?
You have to figure out whether a chest is really a chest or a mimic. If it's a mimic then *it is not real*.
Did you write all the code and made all the assets from scratch?
Most of it. But i've taken code snippets for shaking Game Objects and dynamically adjusting sprite size for the current resolution. And I didn't make the music, or the fonts and used some additional sound effects from the web.

Cool design but there is too much information to read at once.
Difficulty levels would solve that problem.
I wanted to implement that the chapters and their rules slowly get added over time but there just wasn't enough time. Maybe I'll add it after the jam. Thanks for the feedback :)
Very cool game. Love the art style.
Overall a really well put together game and an interesting idea. My general feeling playing the game was that some of the metrics you were supposed to compare did not feel consistent. I was not sure what to do with the bomb chests at all and kept losing there on good runs.

It's a really cool game, the book is a bit too long, but the art is beautiful and it's really fun to play, good job!
It an great concept, implemented greatly too. My complains is so minor, it doesn't affect the gameplay:
Its a bit annoying when you have to pull out and use your phone for qr code, the chain tickle thing is hurting my finger. Filled gold chest and round silver chest are forgettable.
But still an excellent game. Great, great job.

Oh my god this was so fun, i actually played this for like 15min straight and will absolutely even more after this.
Sometimes it felt a little bit unfair, like i didn't know when it was real or fake even when most clues pointed to it being real, it might've been fake or the other way around.
I think this might have a chance of winning.

this game is awesome. The art is great, the game loop is fun, the writing is hilarious, and there's a lot to discover with each playthrough as you learn the signs of a mimic. Just awesome.
** editing to say this is the one game of the jam I have come back to the next day just to try again for fun.
This was so much fun to play! The writing was really funny, and I really liked the art style of the game! The sound design also worked really well! I really liked the high score counter, and I can definitely see myself playing this again for fun when I have some down time! There are enough mechanics to make the game challenging, while not being overwhelming! Awesome work!

very well done. Art was great, music was great and the concept was something I'd not come across before. It took me a few goes to get the grasp of how to figure out if the chest was real or not but overall I was very impressed by this entry. I've included footage in my upcoming youtube video
Cool game! The musics good and I really like the art! The idea works well and I like the medieval setting. Just about everything was good the only problem I had was that the second you click play the timer starts and you don't get any time to read the manual before playing. Other than that its great.
I seriously loved this! Amazing art, music, and sound. It all comes together really nicely. And such a cute, unique concept! Very well executed. I could easily see this as a full mini-game in an RPG or something. This is definitely my favorite submission so far. Great job!
