hom, my guy, i finally gave this another go. and while i *really* wanted to love this because of the amazing ambiance, i just couldnt get behind it.

i think maybe thats because the game relies to much on memorising this one language. i can envision a version of this game with the timers made much more lenient, but where the fictional language is randomised on each play. that way, the game remains a test of translation, not of memorisation.

Hee-ho. Very cool vibe

I love how you make this seemingly simple and mundane task feel so scary! Great job!

Love this take on the theme! Self inflicted panic, just from seeing a few red lines on a screen, love it! Well done on the environment and atmosphere. It really adds to the polish of the game. Congrats and good luck!

Interesting concept, I like the mood of this game, just you alone with an old machine saying incomprehensible stuff that needs translation :) (Honestly I like that, for the part of incomprehensible text, so for me the atmosphere of this game was good)

I had fun noting down the translated keyboard into a sheet, the annoying part was that I needed a few attempts to translate all the keyboard to my paper. It only was annoying because after getting the game over, wherever I pick, restart or quit, the game becomes unresponsive and I had to reload the webpage.

But that was the only part that made me feel like that, once I got my translated keyboard, I could put the commands in the machine, which at the end I already had a few keys memorized haha. And it was fun to type the words.

Oh, and I don’t know if it’s the resolution of my screen but the letter “i” in the keyboard doesn't show correctly.

For me this was a fun little time :)

Glad you liked it, the font is a bit broken but looks like you got 15 commands, well done that's the most I've seen so far!

The resolution issue might be fullscreen? were you playing on fullscreen?

I also thought I fixed the freezing of the replay buttons lol, will have to look into that.

Thank you for playing :)

Yeah, I was in fullscreen but it's the only letter that shows like that so I didn't have problem with it, the letters sheet in the middle also displays well, it's only the i in the keyboard

Very nice! 👍

The atmosphere is really well done, graphically and audibly! I half expected something to come up behind me..

Figuring out the keyboard is definitely the hardest part, but flipping through the error book while tracking down letters on the key poster is very engaging and satisfying when you get it right at the keyboard. Great job!

I really like the atmosphere, and the sound of the keys pressing, omg, pure bliss, hahaha

The poster with the alphabet can be quite hard to read and it takes a while to get used to the alphabet and where the keys are on this keyboard, but i like the vibe!

Really fun game! The graphics fit perfectly for the type of game it is, and on subsequent replays, it gets more fun as you get used to the new alphabets, so definitely give it a shot if you have the time for it! 10/10

I really like the concept! The sounds make me feel hurried and that I need to find the answers quickly, and it's an interesting concept. This could be worked out into an indie game though, with an interesting underlying lore that pulls people in. For now it really made me feel as if I was deciphering the language
