CME: As a candidate and eventual man into the life of priesthood, many things change in your life. A man who chooses to be a part of God's priesthood and be ordained into Holy Orders, must take many steps into changing and adapting to new surroundings and new lifestyle changes. It is not easy, but it is very possible if Holy Orders and the priesthood is what the candidate truly wants and desires
CME: The Church is consisted of the people. All the people in the world have original sin that they have to confess to God. The Sacrament of Holy Orders have to do with confession and i think this symbolize how much we care and love god.
CME of Adaptation & Change: The sacrament of Holy Orders connects to the CME because not only do candidates have to change their lifestyle, but they have to lead a life of celibacy if the candidate is becoming a PRIEST (not deacon) which can be very hard for people. It is a very big change for some people but it has to be done in order to enter that life into the priesthood.
Real World Connection: The priests serves the community by representing the bishop. Like priests, we should also serve our community by offering ourselves and helping others.
Scripture origins: This bible passage can be connected to the sacrament of Holy Orders because it not only mentions "a royal priesthood" but it talks about how proclaiming God and his excellency which is exactly what a person who has completed the sacrament of Holy Orders, should in fact do. In order to complete the sacrament, the person must devote their lives to God and be able to connect God to "pulling them out of the darkness".
Scripture origins: This other bible passage can be connected to Holy Orders because after someone has completed the sacrament, they have completely devoted their lives to God and the "royal priesthood". This can not only brighten up their lives but open up a whole new door of light and brighten up the smallest things in life. Hence "making them possible" just like the passage says
Scripture Origin: This picture is The Poor Fellow-Soldiers of Christ and of the Temple of Solomon, more commonly known as the Knights Templar, Templar Knights, and the Order of the Temple, were among the most famous of the Western Christian military orders. Around 1119 CE, King Baldwin II of Jerusalem agreed to grant the request to form a monastic order for the protection of the pilgrims traveling to the Holy Land in Jerusalem. This request of this new order came from a French knight,
Symbol: Holy Spirit is definitely the symbol of the Holy Orders because Holy Spirit is same as God. Pope Francis is with Holy Spirit in this picture and this absolutely symbolize that the Pope is with God and blessed by God.
Holy Mass
Symbol: This is the great symbol of the sacrament of Holy Orders because it is showing the loyalty to the God. The bread is symbol of Jesus's body. We are not going to forget this forever.
Symbol: Holy Oil is the symbol of the Holy Orders because it is anointing the candidate to perform special duties for God. In addition, it is anointing the candidate to be able to perform sacraments to bring new people into the Church to possibly/eventually be a part of Holy Orders one day.
Catholic Teaching: Bishop is the one who has received the fullness of the Sacrament of Holy Orders; successor to the Apostles. Called to care for the whole Church under the Pope.
