Muriel Corbierre on Instagram: "Sundays are for sewing! Got pretty cotton fabric scraps? This is a fun project to use them 😊. Start by fussy cutting a cute center piece. My bunny was 2.5" (6cm) by 2 (5cm)". My other fabric strips were 1.5" (4cm) wide but you can cut them as wide as you want! I used a 6.5" (17cm) square of InsulFleece as the base to piece on. I stopped piecing once my project was about 5x 5.5" (13x14cm), I cut away the extra fleece, and used a 5.5x6" (14x15cm) piece of quilting cotton for the back. I sewed them right side together, leaving a turning hole. After turning, I topstitched all the way around (and the closed the turning hole). My seam allowance was 1/4" (6mm) and all my fabric was quilting cotton. Questions/comments? Ask below!"

Muriel Corbierre on Instagram: "Honestly, these take 10 minutes tops! 2 rows of stitches and you're done. And it's a great way to use pretty fabric scraps 😉 Fabric: choose a stretchy knit with good recovery, with lycra/spandex. Here I used a cute cotton/lycra from @myfabricdresser (this design is on pre-order until tomorrow!) Dimensions: measure your head, and remove 1.5" (4cm). For example, I measured 21.5", so I cut 20" long. The width here is 6" (15cm), but you can cut it wider to your preference. Use a stretch stitch (like the lightning bolt or narrow zigzag) and a stretch/jersey needle. Seam allowance 1/4" (6mm). Be careful how you fold the knot, it has to be exactly like this or it won't work. I hope you like it! Save for later and share with a friend!"
