John Bitcock, a robot who dreams of becoming a professional dancer, lives in his worst nightmare, an alternate version of America where it's illegal for robots to dance. Determined to make his dream a reality, John sets out on a daring mission to rewrite history. Help John infiltrate the White House, solve physics-based puzzles using his precision cutting laser, and rewrite the Declaration of Independence so robots can dance.

Controls

  • w, a, s, d - Basic Movement
  • space - Jump 
  • Cutting - Left click and hold on a yellow object to start the cut, drag your mouse in the desired direction, and release your click to confirm.
  • Grabbing - Right click a yellow object to move it around. Use the scroll wheel to move it further or closer to you.

Engine

IndepenDance Day was built using Basilisk Engine, an engine developed by our team for 3D Python games. Our levels were designed using Basilisk Engine's level editor.
