In the industrial context, the life cycle of a document plays a central role in describing the "steps out" of a product. Users realize some manipulations like creation, edition, suppression and querying under a multi-user environment, risking possible destruction or the alteration of the document's integrity. A classical impact is the infamous "Error 404: file not found." However, the user needs a notification alert mechanism to prevent and warrant the coherence of manipulations over all the life cycle processes of a product. The main objective of this chapter is to provide a generic relationship validation mechanism to remedy this shortcoming. We believe in the combination of some standard features of XML, specifically XLL specification as a support for integrity management and Java-Triggers approach as an alert method. This study, compared with actual approaches, proposes a solution based on active functionalities.

After explaining related works in the domain, we choose the EXSMAL Algorithm to generate a set of correspondences. Then we try to filter this set in order to obtain 1-1 correspondences. In this purpose, two calculations of similarity are applied: Path similarity and internal similarity. This refinement helps to facilitate the transformation of the documents XML. We also base on a dynamic ontology updated by a user feedback which describes the semantic relation between nodes like IsA, PartOf, Similar, etc. These semantic relations are then expressed in LIMXS data model. The transformation will use operations such as: Connect and Rename for the simple matching, Merge and Split for the complex ones.

The deciders of today are faced with an ever increasing flow of data, which is becoming more and more diverse. It is therefore difficult, in a company, for the decision maker to find the data which is necessary for him to make decision. It is in this context that is placed our study. We propose, in this article, an access system to heterogeneous databases. This system will permit deciders to formulate request without having to know the structure of their data and allow them to have an overview of their information system. This system is centered on a repository which constitute its knowledge base. A thesaurus is also used to allow decider to formulate his requests using natural language. Finally, the different links that exist between the databases are used to find data the most pertinent and help to eliminate the risk of noise in the answers.

Our contribution is a unified method for discovering both the interaction possibilities a service offers and the available semantic links to other services. Our composition engine is implemented as a generic client that allows exploring a service API and interacting with other services to answer user's goal. We rely on a typical scenario in order to illustrate the benefits of our composition approach. We implemented a prototype to demonstrate the applicability of our proposal, experiment and discuss the results obtained.
