This study makes it possible to reintegrate the notion of enunciative sign or marks in eton proverbs. The proverb is a type of statement that suggests the marks of the speaker, the one to whom the proverb is addressed (recipient), the time and place of the utterance. Therefore, this work consists in examining the marks of persons, the modalisation marks, the time and the space which cover the eton proverbs.
