The power law V = Iβ (T, B) was employed as a model to fit the data. The parameter β was found to be directly proportional to the temperature which indicated the dissipation mechanism of the superconductor. The critical current (Ic) of the sample is observed to be inversely proportional to the magnetic field and temperature with a current density of 9.90Acm-2 at 80K, which thus shows the transport property of the material. Using the four-point probe and thermocouple to pass current through the superconductor, the resistance was analyzed to obtain a critical temperature value of 93K which is the approximate temperature of the superconductor to make transition to another phase by dropping the electrical resistivity to zero.

If recent advances in neuroscience are correct, the built environment may be shaping us in ways we hardly perceive, at least not consciously. Our blindsight-to borrow a neurological term-may be changing, however, as advances in neuroscience are giving researchers-and those of us involved with the built environment-new insights into how the human brain interacts with its surroundings. Why should facility management faculty concern themselves with advances in neuroscience? The reasons are manifold, including accreditation standards. The IFMA Foundation, the education branch of the International Facility Management Association (IFMA), provides a cohesive set of accreditation standards that includes 15 student competencies. Competency 6.1 states, ''Using factors around health, safety, welfare, comfort, safety and security within the organization, the student can practice applications of human resource management.'' This is expanded further into four student learning outcomes, two of which appear below: Students know: a) Research methods for assessing human factors, including the environmental, psychological, physiological and ergonometric factors, and for monitoring and evaluating performance. Student work demonstrates understanding of: b) Ways to develop and implement practices that support the performance and goals of the entire facility organization.

The structural, morphological, compositional and Magnetic property of Ni 0.2 Co (XRD), Scanning electron microscopes (FE (EDX), and quantum design Vibrating sample magnetometre structural property showed the formation of Wurtzite structure of ZnO,with nine prominent peaks in which the strong diffraction peaks appear in (100), (002) and (101), respectively, there is a trace related to Ni ions observed. The average size of these nanoparticles was estimat which show that there is a little decrease in the average size of the particles compared to ZnO. Scanning electron microscopes (SEM) showed that the samples have sizes smaller than 100nm, no indication of phase separation and little agglomeration was o spectroscopy (EDX) results tallies with the synthesis results. Magnetic measurement at all temperature the sample present a ferromagnetic behavior with a clear S shape hysteresis loop however the behavior is dec room temperature ferromagnetic behavior was maintained.

In this work, spectral analysis of aeromagnetic data was used to map the topography of the magnetic crystalline fresh basement underlying the water bearing aquifer of Dutse, Jigawa State Nigeria. Vertical electric sounding technique was used to detect the spatial distribution of the depths to the top of the aquifer within the same area. The overall goal of the work is to determine the groundwater potential of the area by mapping the spatial distribution of groundwater availability based on aquifer thickness and basement topography. The aquifer depth was found to be within the range of 5 to 15 m with a mean value of 10 m. The basement was found to be highly undulating having depths ranging from 6 to 69 m with a mean value of 24 m. The existence of isolated deep depressions within the basement which appears to be filled by water bearing...

The emergence of Dilute Magnetic Semiconductors (DMS) with a potentials for spintronic applicatio... more The emergence of Dilute Magnetic Semiconductors (DMS) with a potentials for spintronic application have attracted much researches attention, special consideration has been given to ZnO semiconductor material due to its wide band gap of 3.37 eV, large exciting binding energy of 60 meV, moreover, its ferromagnetic behavior at room temperature when doped with transition metals. MxZn1-xO (M = Fe or Ni) nanoparticles were synthesized by microwave assisted synthesis method calcined at 600°C. The structural, morphological and magnetic properties of these nanoparticles were studied using X-ray Diffraction (XRD), Field Emission Scanning Electron Microscopy (FESEM) and Vibrating Sample Magnetometer (VSM) respectively. Single phase Wurtzite hexagonal crystal structure was observed for the undoped and Fe doped ZnO nanoparticles with no any impurity, whereas Ni doped ZnO nanoparticles shows the formation of NiO impurities. The magnetic measurement reveals a diamagnetic behavior for the undoped Z...

The structural, morphological, compositional, magnetic and optical properties of these nanoparticles were investigated by X-ray diffraction (XRD), Scanning electron microscopes (FE-SEM JEOL-7001), Energy-dispersive X-ray spectroscopy (EDX), Quantum Design Physical Property Measurement System (PPMS) and UV–visible spectroscopy, respectively. The structural properties showed the formation of single phase Wurtzite structure of ZnO, with the strong diffraction peaks appear in (1 0 0), (0 0 2) and (1 0 1) respectively. The average size of the nanoparticles decreases from 32.65 to 23.69 nm as dopant concentration is increase. Scanning electron microscope (SEM) pictures showed that smaller crystallites have sizes smaller than 100 nm, no phase separation and agglomeration was observed....
