This is a pauci- immune disorder vessels which lead to vascular inflammation and then later, it can lead to organ microscopic polyangiitis. This disorder affects multiple organs as it is a systemic disease, but usually presents with renal dysfunction - rapidly progressive glomerulonephritis. There is a possible association of p- ANCA (antineutrophil cytoplasmic antibodies) and can help with the diagnosis of the disorder. This case report is of a 70-year-old female, who presented with symptoms of diffuse pulmonary hemorrhage. After routine blood examination, radiological examination- X ray (chest) and HRCT- thorax, routine urine examination, ANA and ANCA test, the final diagnosis of microscopic polyangiitis with no renal involvement was made. The case was given immunosuppressant therapy and the patient reported of mitigation of symptoms. This case report is unique as MPA usually pre...

Humans are the accidental hosts of the diseases; they usually acquire it from canines; which are the definite host. It can present with systemic cyst, while cardiac manifestation of the disease is rare, due to contractile property of the heart’s muscle fiber which provide resistance. In this case report, the patient is diagnosed with hydatid cyst in the inter ventricular septum; it’s diagnosis and its successful treatment with surgery and albendazole. As, inter ventricular septum hydatid cyst occurs in only 0.5-2% cases, it’s a unique case and its successful treatment and diagnosis can help the physicians in the future to treat a similar case as this.

Not only it has raised an impact on the health care systems as well as the economic and mental health of individuals. SARS-CoV-2 (severe acute respiratory virus- corona virus 2), the outbreak is associated to have likely started as a zoonotic transmission with a seafood market, it has now become clear of the person to person transmission of it. Currently, the virus has been called a global pandemic and has infected 8.72 million people worldwide (dated 21st June 2020). Since, the pandemic has affected multiple countries, our aim of the study is to study d-dimer a biomarker, that may reflect severity of the cases affected by the virus. The search was done based on preferred reporting system for meta-analysis and systemic review (PRISMA) guideline. All the scientific database like Pubmed central, NIH, NCBI, embrase, mediline, Cochrane and google scholar were used to research articles with keywords: ‘d-d...

Because of the active industrialization of the world, in the last century various industries are growing each and every day in various fields in multiple countries. Textile industries alone are one of the most common industry and a source of occupation for more than 20 million workers in India itself. Therefore, it is very important to ensure proper preventive and medical strategies for the industrial workers. Methods: A cross sectional study of 240 workers in a textile industry, was performed. For the study, a well structural questionnaire and peak expiratory flow rate (PEFR) examination was used. Several factors were considered for the abnormality of the PEFR and considerable associations were questioned. The statistical analysis is made by chi-square test and p-values.Results: There are positive association found with abnormal PEFR found and multiple factors including ag...

In our study, we assessed the oral health of the workers along with association of factors affecting the oral health. The factor mainly studied was tobacco consumption. Thus, the study is extremely important to study the oral health of workers as they are more prone to develop oral lesions and less likely to access medical help for the same. Methods: A cross sectional study of 240 workers of a textile factory was studied using a structural self-constructed questionnaire was used in the study. A well informed verbal consent was taken by the participants of the study. It had open and closed ended questions. Further, oral health of the workers were assessed with current and past history, medical history and addiction his-tory. Oral health was checked and the oral lesions of the participants were studied. Oral le-sions as well as pre-malignant and malignant oral lesions were studied.Results:...
