Continuous practice serves to awaken otherwise dormant reflexes and perfects targeting accuracy. Over the years with various challenges, e.g. gun-control by dictatorships etc., lack of access to shooting ranges or otherwise practice sessions in limited environments, have hampered many a keen marksman. Many improvised simulation tools add reality issues such as recoil and sound, but none in the open access domain give realistic ballistic challenges in train e.g. on issues such as Kentucky Windage, Ballistic Drop / Gravitational, Cross Winds, etc. The Open Access projectile simulators and those used to train infantry and law enforcement are static with no dynamic challenge in terms of forces acting on a simulated ballistic projectile once it departs from the muzzle. The methodology/algorithm/technique in this paper shall adjust a wide range of Laser simulators, etc [1], [2] to give more realistic training on 7.62mm, 50 cal, and related long-range sniper shot simulators, but with it offers great promise in simulating more interesting projectiles e.g. short range pistol under intense wind conditions; 105mm, 155mm artillery shells; 84mm Carl Gustav, as well as all manner of ballistic projectiles.

Safe and effective use of smart infusion pumps depends upon their integration with Pump Servers, Computerized Physician Order Entry Systems, Pharmacy Information Systems, DERS/MERS – Dose/Medication Error Reduction Systems(and the digital Drug Libraries that they use), eMARS – electronic Medication Administration Records Systems, etc. More computer systems

The Informatics of Selecting Military Commanders

As continued penetration of the Internet in the society leads to ever more thorough scrutiny of military operations, the world's military forces are in a continuous struggle for situational awareness via their own network-centric Battlefield Management Systems(BMS). But in many publications on the subject matter, little attention is paid as pertains to improving the humanitarian conditions in the Battle-space. The focus for the moment seems to be geared towards the attainment of tactical military objectives, by conducting military operations against, seemingly virtual adversaries. Pragmatically speaking 'claiming that a war can be conducted without atrocities, is akin to claiming that a market can be free from fraud'.

It establishes new ways of describing and refining mechanisms and techniques, for manhunts. Methods used in this dissertation to meet those objectives, include: review of case studies, benchmarking of techniques and the analysis of techniques and concepts, which have been put forward by other scholars. Emphasis has been placed on the applicability of search techniques to a wide range of situations, and techniques
for shielding the actual intentions of a search-interdiction party, from the fugitive’s support network. Also derived from the analyses and case studies in this dissertation, are some innovative concepts that enhance the manhunt tradecrafts of personnel currently engaged in on-going searches for fugitives and insights into fugitive psychology. Though the case studies have got a wide range of characteristics idiosyncratic to their subjects, illustrations of similarities and correspondence in otherwise, obviously unrelated case studies, is empirical evidence of the importance of review of past cases, to assist in the refining of future manhunt operations. The dissertation, proposes various manhunt tradecraft solutions, which may be widely applicable, even in situations where search-interdiction teams have very limited operations funding, but can nevertheless assist in obtaining success by a resourceful operatives. The dissertation further seeks to give any new search-interdiction operative initial procedures and points of inquiry, while for the skilful operatives, it provides various methods for refinement of techniques and performance benchmarking.

A lethal autonomous weapons is therefore independently capable of exhibiting positive or negative recessive norms of targeting in its perceptions of Discrimination between Civilian and Military Objects, Proportionality of Methods and Outcomes, Feasible Precaution before interdiction and its underlying Concepts of Humanity. This marks the completion of an Open PhD ( #openphd ) project done in sui generis form.

Despite this being the most expensive Election in the World, it produced a flawed Presidential Election result that was later nullified by the Supreme Court of Kenya. This book explores the issues around that episode of Kenyan History in-depth......
