Kevin is licensed as both a clinical counselor and clinical psychologist. He has been an adjunct Professor at both Kent State and John Carroll Universities in Ohio, USA. He is currently employed as an attending psychologist at numerous skilled, intermediate, and long term care centers and nursing homes in Ohio. The Archai methodology derives from the text Cosmos and Psyche by Richard Tarnas (2006). An alternative method, the midpoint methodology, derives from the author's efforts to uncover a more reliable, valid and comprehensive approach to astrological historiography.

The absence of Saturn-Uranus by quadrature transit, midpoint and tranzome appears contradictory t... more The absence of Saturn-Uranus by quadrature transit, midpoint and tranzome appears contradictory to me. However, when I re-read Tarnas’ discussion of Saturn-Uranus on page 530, and saw that Tarnas specifically said “aviation accidents” tended to correlate with “Saturn-Uranus hard aspects.” September 11 did not involve accidental plane crashes. September 11 involved purposeful plane crashes as part of a coordinated predatorial terrorist attack. Therefore, low Saturn-Uranus by hard aspect makes archetypal sense since accidental plane crashes did not occur on that day. Instead, the highest scoring tranzomes seem to correlate with the events of 9/11: Unprotected American skies (Jupiter-Neptune = #1) allowed predatorial terrorists to use civilian planes as guided missiles (Saturn-Pluto = #3) resulting in fear, anxiety and paranoia (Saturn-Neptune = #2) while allowing millions world-wide to watch death (Saturn-Neptune = #2) and murder (Neptune-Pluto = #4) on their television sets with increasing anxiety and paranoia and ultimately grief (Saturn-Neptune = #2) and compassion (Jupiter-Neptune = #1).

While it seems striking that all three hypotheses were supported in this study, a surprising find... more While it seems striking that all three hypotheses were supported in this study, a surprising finding was the high Jupiter-Pluto tranzome. This tranzome is often portrayed positively as “political enthusiasm” or “celebratory expansiveness and mass power” (Tarnas, 2010b, p 180). However, a negative or shadow manifestation identified in this paper would be the overinvolvement of powerful leaders in the lives of the masses. This overinvolvement could manifest as increased accidental deaths, as in 1918 when powerful physicians overprescribed ASA as well as promoted over-ingestion of generic aspirin in lay people which led to accidental deaths by aspirin toxicity (see Prosnick and Berrill, 2024; and Prosnick and Osler, 2024). Whereas with COVID-19, powerful hospital administrators and medical professionals have seemed to over utilize ventilators for COVID-19 sufferers, as well as under-utilize and withhold effective treatment, which may have led to the questionable “accidental” deaths of many.

The idea for the Journal of Astromology and Numerology for International Studies or JANIS was born in the condo association pool across from our condo in the Summer of 2012. The goal and intention was to produce an annual (or at least recurrent) journal consisting of current research in the areas of Astromology, Numerology, Numerotypes, Tranzomology, and whatever else might emerge from the combined minds at 154 Hogan Lane, along with contributions from the rest of the planet, world and galaxy. The first edition was slated for 1-1-2016, however, that did not materialize. The first edition was almost published on 2-1-2019, Janis’s 41st birthday, but that did not materialize either. This first edition was finally published on 8-3-2019, with transiting Sun Opposite Janis’ natal Sun, and transiting Sun Square my natal Neptune.

I began this novelita (which can mean “gift of God”) in 1994. What began as a book offered by a friend and one folder of personal notes has turned into hundreds of books read and three boxes of notes. Because I am so familiar with this topic, I decided to write it in a Joycian feel. I wanted the reader to have an experience while trying to decipher the various Jesus’s. Alas, my initial publication yielded no takers. I published parts 1 and 2 in ISAR and published the notes as a separate file on academia.edu. I expected at least a few ISAR readers to consult part 3, but not a single sole/soul did so. So, I present this challenge to you, my newest reader. Will you be the first to get to Chapter 3 and comprehend the puzzle of the multiple Jesus’s?

Empirical Astromology, Volume 4: Four Male Serial Killers (MSKs): A Novelette Containing Empirical Research In Applied Astromology

My (Kevin P Prosnick) Amazon account shows me purchasing the book Destined for Murder: Profiles o... more My (Kevin P Prosnick) Amazon account shows me purchasing the book Destined for Murder: Profiles of Six Serial Killers with Astrological Commentary (1995) by Sandra Harrisson Young and Edna Rowland for one cent (plus $3.99 S/H) on July 5, 2013. Hence this work began soon after that purchase. I believe that my intent was to examine a group of male serial killers with the 2-stage method that I had developed back in the late 90s. Some time later I realized that midpoints by square would be a valuable addition. Thus a Stage 3 was added. And finally, on a trip to Florida to visit my Mom, whereby I lost my voice with a severe sore throat (subtext: holding back words?), I re-read Reinhold Ebertin’s (1972/1990) The Combination of Stellar Influences, and accepted his challenge to add aspects and midpoints by semi-square or 45° and sesquiquadrate or 135° relationships. Thus emerged Stage 4. All four stages were utilized for the first time in the work which follows.

In the field of psychological assessment, prognostic tools are judged by some of the following: (... more In the field of psychological assessment, prognostic tools are judged by some of the following: (1) Is there reliability data? If no reliability, then no validity, (2) If reliable, then is there validity data? (3) How does it rank with other reliable and valid tools? (4) Are there clear rules of use? (5) Is the tool or technique being applied exhaustively? That is, did the practitioner choose to discuss only 1-2 pieces of data which support their views, while ignoring the rest? (6) Are both the low, negative, unfavorable, and/or destructive features of the assessment discussed, as well as the higher, positive, favorable and constructive facets? It seems time for Predictive Astrology to adhere to something like the above to possibly avoid future mishaps like the recent consensus by 12 expert astrologers that Hillary Clinton would win the White House. As a starting point, I propose that the transit research from Reinhold Ebertin and Richard Tarnas indicate a forecasting technique that has the most reliability and validity data to date.

The authors suggested that their method could be used to "replace the current approach" (2, p. 284) to organizing axis II disorders. However, their results (2) lacked a theoretical discussion examining the similarities and differences between the six categories that are clinically near the axis II disorders and their appropriate DSM-IV counterparts. While a full discussion is beyond the scope of this letter, a few comments on some apparent contradictions seem necessary.
