The study population was all permanent lecturers of private universities owned by Foundation ( organizations) totaling 425 permanent lecturers who had functional positions as expert assistants, lecturers, and head lecturers and had the following characteristics: (1) tenure of over 1 year, (2 ) Domicile in Medan and (3) Carry out the Tri Dharma of Higher Education. Determination of the number using the Slovin formula and obtained as many as 219 lecturers and data analysis used was path analysis. This study aims to develop student loyalty models as well as implement and refine student loyalty... more This study aims to develop student loyalty models as well as implement and refine student loyalty models in Private Islamic Religion Universities in Medan City. This study included an associative study. The questionnaires were distributed to 300 students and the survey implied multiple Likert scales. To process the data, we used Lisrel 8.80. The results of the study showed that the marketing mix, service quality, Islamic values, and institutional image had a positive and significant effect on student satisfaction and on student loyalty for the students of the Private Islamic Religion College in Medan.

Pendekatan penelitian ini adalah pendekatan kuantitatif, populasi dalam penelitian ini adalah perusahaan Properti dan Real Estate yang terdaftar di Bursa Efek Indonesia tahun 2011-2015, teknik pengambilan sampel dengan cara purposive sampling dari 50 perusahaan, dan 14 perusahaan yang memenuhi kriteria menjadi sampel, jenis data dalam penelitian ini adalah data sekunder. Teknik Analisis menggunakan analisis regresi linear berganda. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukan bahwa secara parsial Perputaran Kas berpengaruh dan perputaran piutang secara parsial terhadap Return On Equity dan kepemilikan Institusi tidak memoderasi pengaruh keduanya. Perputaran Aktiva Tetap berpengaruh signifikan terhadap Return On Equity dan kepemilikan Institusi memoderasi. Secara simultan variabel Perputaran Kas, Perputaran Piutang dan Perputaran Aktiva Tetap berpengaruh signifikan terhadap Return On Equity. The present study seeks to provide an empirical elaboration on the effects of organizational cult... more The present study seeks to provide an empirical elaboration on the effects of organizational culture and Islamic work ethic on permanent lecturers' job satisfaction, organizational commitment and work performance (a survey at private Islamic Universities in the City of Medan). The population in the present study are all permanent lecturers at Private Universities under Yayasan Islam (an Islamic Organization) totalling 485 lecturers with respective functional titles of Instructor, Assistant Professor, Associate Professor. Slovin's formula was adopted in order to determine the number of samples and it generated a total of 219 people. The findings of the study indicated that organizational culture and Islamic work ethic directly impacts on permanent lecturers' job satisfaction, organizational commitment among lecturers and their performance, job satisfaction has an effect on organizational commitment among lecturers , job satisfaction has an effect on lecturers' performance, organizational commitment among lecturers has an effect on lecturers' performance, organizational commitment among lecturers together with Islamic work ethic have effects on organizational commitment among lecturers through lecturers' job satisfaction , organizational commitment among lecturers and Islamic work ethic have positive and significant effects on lecturers' performance through lecturer's job satisfaction, organizational culture and Islamic work ethic have positive and significant effects on lecturerss performance through organizational commitment among lecturers and job satisfaction has a positive and significant effect on lecturers' performance through organizational commitment among lecturers.

Untuk pengujian hipotesis dilakukan dengan uji regresi berganda dan uji regresi moderasi. Uji regresi berganda bertujuan secara dasar sama dengan korelasi sederhana atau berganda, yakni ingin mengetahui apakah ada pengaruh antara dua variabel dan apakah varibel moderate mampu memoderasi hubungan antara dua variabel. Teknik sampling yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah purposive sampling. Sampel penelitian dipilih berdasarkan kriteria-kriteria yang telah ditentukan, dari kriteria yang telah ditentukan diperoleh 6 perusahaan yang memenuhi kriteria.Dari hasil penelitian ini terbukti bahwa terdapat pengaruh Return On Asset dan Current Ratio terhadap Dividen Payout Ratio baik secara parsial maupun secara simultan. Hipotesis kedua menguji apakah pengembangan karir berpengaruh terhadap kinerja.Populasi dalam penelitian ini adalah seluruh karyawan pada PT. FIF Group di Kabupaten Pasaman. Sampel penelitian dipilih dengan menggunakan teknik full sampling. Data penelitian dikumpulkan dengan metode survei dan dianalisis dengan regresi linier berganda.Hasil dari penelitian menunjukkan bahwa kompensasi berpengaruh silmultan dan parsial terhadap kinerja. Hasil lain yang dapat disimpulkan adalah bahwa pengembangan karir berpengeruh simultan dan parsial terhadap kinerja.
The purpose of this study was to create transparency, accountability, participation, effectivenes... more The purpose of this study was to create transparency, accountability, participation, effectiveness and consistency in private universities in the city of Medan. To obtain the data needed in this study, researchers used data collection techniques by means of surveys. Researchers do this by distributing questionnaires to lecturers and / or employees at Private Universities in Medan City. The results of the study showed that Good Governance has been running well at Private Universities in Medan City, and most respondents stated their agreement that aspects of transparency, participation, accountability, and effectiveness have gone well. This was supported by the results of research that good governance at private universities in Medan city 87% have applied the aspect of transparency, 90% have applied the aspect of Participation, 51% have implemented accountability, and 87% have applied the aspect of effectiveness.

The purpose of this study was to analyze the influence of organizational culture and organizational commitment on ITDC employee job satisfaction. The population of this study were all employees at ITDC. The sample selection process uses a total sampling method with the criteria of permanent employees who have worked for at least 2 years at ITDC, so that respondents have had experience working at PT ITDC so that they have experience and are able to feel the organizational culture at PT ITDC. Based on these criteria, the number of samples in this study were 117 permanent ITDC employees. The results of the analysis show that organizational culture and organizational commitment have a positive and significant effect on ITDC employee job satisfaction. The technique of data analysis in this study was descriptive and Structural Equation Modelling (SEM). The results showed that the marketing mix had a positive and significant effect on tourist's satisfaction. The service quality had a positive and significant effect on tourist's satisfaction in the region of Samosir. Marketing mix had a positive and significant effect on tourist's loyalty. The service quality had a positive and significant effect on tourist's loyalty. Tourist satisfaction had a positive and significant effect on tourist's loyalty in the region of Samosir. Various complaints that arise related to power outages and high electricity tariff increase people demand as consumers on excellent service. Total consumers of PLN Disjaya reach 3,759,546 subscribers (March 2011), it is one unit that has the largest number of subscribers compared to other PLN units, and also provides the largest contribution to revenue. On a survey of Integrity, PLN Disjaya service from 2006 to 2010 showed that over the last five years, PLN Disjaya integrity is below target. The purpose of this study is to analyze the role of motivation in moderating influence between job satisfaction and organizational commitment partially and simultaneously on employee performance. Data collection techniques used questionnaires to 160 employees as respondents; data analysis techniques used Regresion Moderated Analysis (MRA). The results showed the role of motivation can moderate the job satisfaction on employee performance, but by individual motivation cannot moderate the commitment to employee performance.

The approach used in this study is the associative approach. Sources of data in this study are plastic and packaging companies listed in Indonesia Stock Exchange from 2008 until 2011. Independent variables used in this study consisted of cash turnover and inventory turnover, while the dependent variable is the profitability (ROE). Data collection techniques in this study using techniques of documentation. Data analysis techniques in this study using multiple linear regression, t-test, f-test and coefficient of determination. Processing of the data in this study using the software program SPSS (Statistics Package for the Social Sciens) 16.0 for Windows. The results of this study prove that the partial cash turnover has no significant effect on profitability and inventory turnover partially have a significant effect on profitability. And simultaneous cash turnover and inventory turnover have a significant effect on profitability in plastics and packaging company listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange.

To obtain the data needed in this study, researchers used data collection techniques by means of surveys. Researchers do this by distributing questionnaires to lecturers and / or employees at Private Universities in Medan City. The results of the study showed that Good Governance has been running well at Private Universities in Medan City, and most respondents stated their agreement that aspects of transparency, participation, accountability, and effectiveness have gone well. This was supported by the results of research that good governance at private universities in Medan city 87% have applied the aspect of transparency, 90% have applied the aspect of Participation, 51% have implemented accountability, and 87% have applied the aspect of effectiveness.

The purpose of this study was to analyze the influence of organizational culture and organizational commitment on ITDC employee job satisfaction. The population of this study were all employees at ITDC. The sample selection process uses a total sampling method with the criteria of permanent employees who have worked for at least 2 years at ITDC, so that respondents have had experience working at PT ITDC so that they have experience and are able to feel the organizational culture at PT ITDC. Based on these criteria, the number of samples in this study were 117 permanent ITDC employees. The results of the analysis show that organizational culture and organizational commitment have a positive and significant effect on ITDC employee job satisfaction. The data collection techniques used in this study included interviews and questionnaires to the relevant parties. The technique of data analysis in this study was descriptive and Structural Equation Modelling (SEM). The results showed that the marketing mix had a positive and significant effect on tourist's satisfaction. The service quality had a positive and significant effect on tourist's satisfaction in the region of Samosir. Marketing mix had a positive and significant effect on tourist's loyalty. The service quality had a positive and significant effect on tourist's loyalty. Tourist satisfaction had a positive and significant effect on tourist's loyalty in the region of Samosir. Various complaints that arise related to power outages and high electricity tariff increase people demand as consumers on excellent service. Total consumers of PLN Disjaya reach 3,759,546 subscribers (March 2011), it is one unit that has the largest number of subscribers compared to other PLN units, and also provides the largest contribution to revenue. On a survey of Integrity, PLN Disjaya service from 2006 to 2010 showed that over the last five years, PLN Disjaya integrity is below target. The purpose of this study is to analyze the role of motivation in moderating influence between job satisfaction and organizational commitment partially and simultaneously on employee performance. Data collection techniques used questionnaires to 160 employees as respondents; data analysis techniques used Regresion Moderated Analysis (MRA). The results showed the role of motivation can moderate the job satisfaction on employee performance, but by individual motivation cannot moderate the commitment to employee performance.

The approach used in this study is the associative approach. Sources of data in this study are plastic and packaging companies listed in Indonesia Stock Exchange from 2008 until 2011. Independent variables used in this study consisted of cash turnover and inventory turnover, while the dependent variable is the profitability (ROE). Data collection techniques in this study using techniques of documentation. Data analysis techniques in this study using multiple linear regression, t-test, f-test and coefficient of determination. Processing of the data in this study using the software program SPSS (Statistics Package for the Social Sciens) 16.0 for Windows. The results of this study prove that the partial cash turnover has no significant effect on profitability and inventory turnover partially have a significant effect on profitability. And simultaneous cash turnover and inventory turnover have a significant effect on profitability in plastics and packaging company listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange.

The ability had direct and indirect effect on employee's performance through motivation. The motivation had direct and indirect effect on employee's performance through the ability. The ability and motivation affect the employee's performance at 73.43%, while 26.7% influenced by other variables.
