Berdasarkan data tahun 2021, Kelurahan Teluk memiliki tingkat kedatangan ibu ke Posyandu yang paling rendah, yaitu 78,1%. Hasil observasi pelaksanaan di beberapa Posyandu wilayah Teluk menunjukkan adanya ketidaklengkapan KMS terutama pada kolom N/T sehingga tidak ada penyampaian informasi hasil penimbangan balita kepada ibu balita. Hal ini dapat mempengaruhi status gizi balita. Kader perlu untuk kembali pemahaman dan kemampuannya dalam pemantauan dan pendokumentasian pertumbuhan balita. Changes in times and lifestyles play a role in students' interest in consuming daily food. This study aimed to examine the relationship between the level of vegetable consumption, fruit and physical activity with nutritional status in Vocational High School students. Methods This research used a cross sectional design. As many as 206 respondents of State Vocational Schools students in Banyumas was selected by purposive sampling technique. Results The level of fruit and vegetable consumption in vocational students was the majority low (96.5%). There are students with underweight nutritional status (12.5%) and moderate in activity levels as much as 195 (97.5%). Conclusions The chi square test showed that there was no relationship between sex and nutritional status with the level of fruit and vegetable consumption and physical activity (p> 0.05) in vocational students.

Background: The prevalence of obese adolescents is increasing rapidly followed by an increase in ... more Background: The prevalence of obese adolescents is increasing rapidly followed by an increase in the prevalence of screen time activities. Excessive screen time is related to the consumption of foods that are high in energy and fat and lack of physical activity which results in a positive energy balance resulting in weight gain in adolescents. Objective: To find out the relationship between physical activity and screen time with macronutrient intake and nutritional status in adolescents. Method: The study design used a cross-sectional design of 200 students. Nutritional status is measured based on the ratio of body weight and height in units of kg / m 2. Screen time is measured by the length of time teens playing gadgets based on questionnaires. Intake of macronutrients was obtained based on the results of interviews using semi-qualitative FFQ. Results: Most participants had an adequate intake of macronutrients and only a small proportion of participants had excessive macronutrient intake. Most participants had normal nutritional status, but there were 37 participants or 18.5% who had overweight. High screen time activity in participants was very high at 88.5% and moderate physical activity of high participants was 97.5%. The relationship between daily screen time and carbohydrate intake had a significant effect with p= 0.04 (p<0.05). Conclusions:The relationship between screen time, physical activity, macronutrient intake, and nutritional status had no significant relationship except in screen time and carbohydrateintake.

Pandemi Covid-19 telah mengubah aktivitas fisik akibat kegiatan sehari-hari yang tidak banyak ber... more Pandemi Covid-19 telah mengubah aktivitas fisik akibat kegiatan sehari-hari yang tidak banyak berpindah untuk keluar rumah terutama pada mahasiswa, yang terdampak kebijakan belajar dari rumah dengan metode daring yang memperbanyak waktu hanya berada didepan komputer. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah mengetahui bagaimana kondisi status aktivitas fisik pada mahasiswa diwilayah Banyumas pada masa pandemi Covid-19 yang sudah berlangsung lebih dari 1 (satu) tahun di Indonesia (pengumpulan seluruh data sampai April 2021). Dengan metode deskriptif kuantitatif, mengukur aktivitas fisik mahasiswa melalui recall kegiatan yang menggunakan International Physical Activities Questioneir (IPAQ), kemudian menghitung jumlah waktu aktivitas dalam pengukuran Metabolism Equivalent Test (MET). Jumlah responden sebanyak 329 yang terdiri dari mahasiswa di Kabupaten Banyumas. Hasil yang didapatkan adalah data estimasi waktu pelaksanaan suatu aktivitas harian selama 1 minggu yaitu 140 responden dalam katagori tidak aktif, 111 responden dalam katagori aktivitas sedang dan 78 responden tetap dalam tingkat aktivitas tinggi, dan 66,75% aktivitas responden untuk mengurangi kejenuhan adalah aktivitas yang mendukung perilaku sedentari. Simpulan, sebagai temuan pada responden berupa angka aktifitas fisik rendah yang mendekati angka setengah responden, dan terdapat kemungkinan peningkatan individu beresiko penyakit akibat kekurangan gerak selama masa pandemi Covid-19. Kegiatan pengalihan jenuh yang dilakukan responden mendukung penurunan aktifitas fisik.

D... more Prevalence of Type 2 Diabetes Mellitus (T2DM) disease in Indonesia is still classified as high. Dietary pattern is a factor that affects the occurrence of T2DM, hence patients' dietary pattern must be monitored to avoid further health complications. One of the interventions that can be applied is a plant-based diet, with a consumption pattern of plant-food such as fruit, vegetable, nut, and seed. The aim of this literature study is to identify the effectiveness of plant-based diet in patients with T2DM. This study was conducted using literature review method that resulted in six relevant journals within the last ten years from Google Scholar, PubMed/Medline, Science Direct, and Wiley Online Library. The results of this study show that a plant-based diet affects weight loss, body mass index, blood glucose (HbA1C, fructosamine, fasting plasma glucose), and hormones (insulin, GLP-1, PYY, PP, amylin). It proves that plant-based diets have a positive impact on people with T2DM patients.

This study aimed to find out the relationship between menstrual blood counts and nutritional intake with hemoglobin (Hb) levels in girls. The study used a cross-sectional design with a sample of 169 young girls in middle school in Banyumas District, Central Java, Indonesia. The amount of menstrual blood was seen using a questionnaire menstrual pictogram. The nutritional intake studied was the intake of protein, fibre, iron, and vitamin C using an FFQ semi-quantitative questionnaire and Hb levels through the insertion of peripheral blood. Pandemi Covid-19 telah mengubah aktivitas fisik akibat kegiatan sehari-hari yang tidak banyak ber... more Pandemi Covid-19 telah mengubah aktivitas fisik akibat kegiatan sehari-hari yang tidak banyak berpindah untuk keluar rumah terutama pada mahasiswa, yang terdampak kebijakan belajar dari rumah dengan metode daring yang memperbanyak waktu hanya berada didepan komputer. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah mengetahui bagaimana kondisi status aktivitas fisik pada mahasiswa diwilayah Banyumas pada masa pandemi Covid-19 yang sudah berlangsung lebih dari 1 (satu) tahun di Indonesia (pengumpulan seluruh data sampai April 2021). Dengan metode deskriptif kuantitatif, mengukur aktivitas fisik mahasiswa melalui recall kegiatan yang menggunakan International Physical Activities Questioneir (IPAQ), kemudian menghitung jumlah waktu aktivitas dalam pengukuran Metabolism Equivalent Test (MET). Jumlah responden sebanyak 329 yang terdiri dari mahasiswa di Kabupaten Banyumas. Hasil yang didapatkan adalah data estimasi waktu pelaksanaan suatu aktivitas harian selama 1 minggu yaitu 140 responden dalam katagori tidak aktif, 111 responden dalam katagori aktivitas sedang dan 78 responden tetap dalam tingkat aktivitas tinggi, dan 66,75% aktivitas responden untuk mengurangi kejenuhan adalah aktivitas yang mendukung perilaku sedentari. Simpulan, sebagai temuan pada responden berupa angka aktifitas fisik rendah yang mendekati angka setengah responden, dan terdapat kemungkinan peningkatan individu beresiko penyakit akibat kekurangan gerak selama masa pandemi Covid-19. Kegiatan pengalihan jenuh yang dilakukan responden mendukung penurunan aktifitas fisik.

D... more Prevalence of Type 2 Diabetes Mellitus (T2DM) disease in Indonesia is still classified as high. Dietary pattern is a factor that affects the occurrence of T2DM, hence patients' dietary pattern must be monitored to avoid further health complications. One of the interventions that can be applied is a plant-based diet, with a consumption pattern of plant-food such as fruit, vegetable, nut, and seed. The aim of this literature study is to identify the effectiveness of plant-based diet in patients with T2DM. This study was conducted using literature review method that resulted in six relevant journals within the last ten years from Google Scholar, PubMed/Medline, Science Direct, and Wiley Online Library. The results of this study show that a plant-based diet affects weight loss, body mass index, blood glucose (HbA1C, fructosamine, fasting plasma glucose), and hormones (insulin, GLP-1, PYY, PP, amylin). It proves that plant-based diets have a positive impact on people with T2DM patients.

Heavy menstrual bleeding that can periodically reduce iron stores in the body so that the body has an iron deficiency and lead to anemia. This study aimed to find out the relationship between menstrual blood counts and nutritional intake with hemoglobin (Hb) levels in girls. The study used a cross-sectional design with a sample of 169 young girls in middle school in Banyumas District, Central Java, Indonesia. The amount of menstrual blood was seen using a questionnaire menstrual pictogram. The nutritional intake studied was the intake of protein, fibre, iron, and vitamin C using an FFQ semi-quantitative questionnaire and Hb levels through the insertion of peripheral blood.
