The patient refused to have his teeth prepared except for broken teeth so a single cantilever retainer denture bridge was made with fiber post design and ovate pontic. Radiographic examination was performed to evaluate the apical condition of the fractured tooth followed by initial im-pression for diagnostic wax-up, treated endodontically to prevent pulp necrosis. Preparation was carried out on tooth 21 using gingival retraction floss and the patient using provisory for 4 weeks. The final impression of the double impression technique was carried out with polyvinylsiloxane. The bridge is cemented using dual-cure resin cement. It is concluded that this ovate pontic design is very suitable for the treatment of the anterior region to achieve the best esthet...

This can lead to poor complete denture function and an unbalanced occlusion. Therefore, treatment is needed to obtain adequate retention and stability in edentulous mandible. Today, mini implant overdenture using magnetic retention is often used as a treatment for edentulous mandible. Objective: To review the literature on mini implant overden-ture using magnetic retention in prosthodontic cases. Discussion: Implant overdenture is a complete or partial denture covering the implant used as a support. Stability and retention of dentures in the long term can be achieved by using a small diameter implant called mini dental implant that is mounted directly on the alveolar ridge using magnets. Conclusion: Mini implant overdenture can be used in cases of edentulous mandible to obtain good retention and stability.

The use of removable partial denture (RPD) with clasp is often unsatisfactory for patients from functional and aesthetic aspects. Retention and stabilization must be considered in making RPD. In the case of free-end dentures, which fixed dentures (FD) is contraindicated, another option is a hybrid prosthesis that combines a RPD with FD using precision attachment. Clasp used as denture retention can be replaced with precision attachment to produce better retention.

The three-year (2016-2018) exact field plot trials with the potato cv. Dicolora was carried out at the experimental station in Prague-Uhříněves. Wheat straw mulch in two doses 2.5 t/ha (SM1) and 4.5 t/ha (SM2) was applied on the soil surface; the compost in a dose of 20 t/ha (CM) was shuffled to the surface soil layer. Both straw mulch and compost application contributed to the significant reduction of the soil losses compared to control untreated (C). In the average of 2016-2018, the lowest soil loss 17.54 g/m 2 (amount of the soil sediment caught) was found for the variant with the straw mulch treatment (SM2); it means the decrease of soil losses by 71.9% compared to C. Variant SM1 (lower rate of straw mulch in dose 2.5 t/ha) showed the soil loss 18.6 g/m 2 (the decrease by 70.2% compared to C). The similar results for both variants indicate that for effective soil protection, it is not necessary to use the high doses of the straw mulch. Regarding the distribution of precipitation during the vegetation season, intensive precipitation during the short time, especially when they came after the longer period of drought led to higher soil losses compared to the precipitation distributed regularly.

This systematic review was conducted using Wiley and PubMed of match journals regarding inclusion and exclusion criteria. Clinical trial studies on mandibular implant overdentures from January 2009 to November 2019 were chosen 10 articles from 125 articles were lastly included and the data on prosthesis retention, marginal bone loss and patient satisfaction were analyzed similar to attachment systems. From the limited amount of research, the model of attachment did not show a significant difference between marginal bone loss and implant patient satisfaction measure. but, overdentures with locator attachment tend to have a higher retention than the attachments ball. The conclusion is that the locator and the ball attachment system present the same clinical performance on marginal bone loss and patient satisfaction, but the locator attachment has a higher retention than the ball attachment.

One variable contribution is procedure treatment including secondary treatment after the principal procedure. There are some optional procedures consisting of simple and sophisticated or radical surgery. Several studies showed probability recurrence higher in simple than complex treatment. However, the complex or radical treatment caused severe complications such as deformity and asymmetry of the jaw. In this article, the author presented combination dredging and obturator as an alternative procedure and evaluated their outcome focus to a recurrence rate of oral benign lesions. This study aimed to determine the recurrence rate of oral benign lesions treated with dredging and obturator. This study is a descriptive observational with a retrospective approach.
