Methodology: The study has employed the sample data of the companies’ representatives of the Oil and Gas Sector of Pakistan from July 2001 to June 2018 respectively. For estimation, the Panel Regression techniques are employed followed by the Forecast Error Statistics for the in-sample forecast ability of the variables under study. Main Findings: The results of the study depict that the Market Model comprising of the Market Value Financial Ratios strongly influences the returns of the Emerging Market Index relative to the Market Level Return respectively. Similarly, the predictive power of the Market Model is more influential at the Emerging Market Level Return but not less at Market Level Return. Application of the Study: The findings of the study suggest that the domestic and foreign investors may con...

Knowledge hiding is an employee’s intentional attempt to conceal knowledge requested by others at the workplace. Employee knowledge hiding significantly influences an organization’s effective functioning. This research is an attempt to extend previous work on antecedents of knowledge hiding. Drawing on conservation of resources theory, it is proposed that receiving poor treatment by organizations in the form of organizational dehumanization creates psychological distress among employees toward the organization. Distress among workers in turn intervenes the path and increases the likelihood of engaging in knowledge hiding behaviors. An employee’s felt obligation for constructive change (FOCC) may moderate the relationship between organizational dehumanization and employee psychological distress. Data for the current study were collected from 245 employees of the telecommunication sector in three-time lags. The resul...

Using theory of reasoned action (TRA) model the study investigates the three factors including attitude, religiosity and subjective norms in measuring the intention of customers to adopt Islamic banking products along with moderating role of pricing. The sample of 220 banks consumers from two cities of Rawalpindi and Islamabad are gathered using convenient sampling. Regression results suggest that all three factors influence the intention of customers in buying Islamic banking products. Moreover, pricing moderates the relationship in developing intention of customer to adopt Islamic personal financing in the context of religiosity. The finding of the study identifies that Islamic bankers should adopt pricing policy based upon fair practices of Shariah. In addition awareness to people about Islamic products through marketing is essential in clearing their misconceptions towards investment in Islamic products.

This study aimed to conduct parallel analysis in convergent design by using qualitative and quantitative methods to extract person-driven ethical leadership themes by considering the Asian context. Using the hypothetico-deductive method, 13 themes were extracted altogether, out of which 4 are new context-driven themes (i.e., altruism, encouragement, collective good, and spiritual transcendence as the emerging themes of ethical leadership in the Asian context).

Four determinants which are role conflict, role ambiguity, home-work interface and work overload as predictors of job stress were identified and studied, only one role ambiguity showed insignificant relation. The causal negative relation of job stress and job satisfaction was identified and in a similar vein job satisfaction studied having a moderating effect of professional commitment on burnout that weakens the highly negative relationship between job satisfaction and burnout. SEM analysis used for exploring the causal path relationship. Key words: Job Stress, Job Satisfaction, Burnout, Professional Commitment, Structure Equation Modeling.

Data from 724 faculty members from various public/private universities were analyzed in relation to ethical work context, internal social capital and innovative work behavior. It was identified that ethical work context had a direct impact on innovative work behavior. Furthermore, social capital played significant role in creation of innovative work behavior and also work as mediator between ethical work context and innovative work behavior.

Machiavellian personality engaged in bullying behaviors which can be reduced by the soft impression management tactics. A field sample of 420 employees working in telecommunication sector were analyzed. Time lag research design was used to investigate the linear effects of the proposed constructs. The hypotheses were tested by using the moderated-mediation analysis. The result shows that role ambiguous job demands trigger the functional attributes of Machiavellian personality for predicting positive self-impression. The impact of Machiavellian personality on bullying behavior through moderated-mediation of role ambiguity and impression management was significantly proved.
