In this way, Pasolini's though that antifascism might become a hidden form of fascism can be analysed by means of Bateson's theory of double bind. In Pasolini's intellectual personality the contradictions of his position are dealt with by means of the epistemology analogic thought.

In this paper, we try to come back to Hutto’s works on the Tractatus logico-philosophicus . We retain, as Hutto, that there is a strong continuity between early Wittgenstein’s thought and his later conceptions. But we hold that in the Tractatus the more characteristic theses constituting the picture-theory need to receive a greater weight than in Hutto’s reading. Hutto’s insight at any rate will afford in this paper only some hints useful for the development of remarks about the picture-theory that can be considered as independent with regard to their logical and conceptual grounds.

C'è qualcosa di simile a un confine tra questi due piani? È in qualche modo individuabile?

Nevertheless, a further analysis is required in order to clarify its role in the whole context of the picture-theory, namely the semantics of the Tractatus. The hypothesis I intend to present here is thatWittgenstein turns the distinction "inside/outside" (idealism/ realism) into another distinction between "name" and "proposition": whereas the meaning of the name is always known, the meaning of the proposi- tion is ungraspable insofar as it refers to unknown situations.

The hypothesis that is presented is that the structure of "proposition" (that is organized in "topic" and "comment") shapes our thought pushing us to believe that it is true a kind of ontology that is akin to Aristotle's belief that "substance" and "accident" are central concepts in the correct view of Metaphysics. The following remarks aim to give some suggestions that can be useful to deepen such a kind of perspective with reference to Wittgenstein's Tractatus logico-philosophicus.

In this paper the relationship between the issue of induction and the patterns of communication w... more In this paper the relationship between the issue of induction and the patterns of communication will be inquired. The basic idea is that the process of communication is intrinsically linked with the use of the topic-comment structure, and this linguistic pattern conducts the human mind to retain that the reality is ontologically organized in substances (or individuals) and accidents (or more generally, properties). It is proposed that the ontological meaning of the laws of nature can be better explained by the attempt to show that other patterns of thought are available. So it will be proposed a semantics that is based more substantially on names, and not on propositions or topic-comment structures. Our instinctive trust in laws of nature is interpreted as the consequence of the ontological connections between the respective references of the names. Some ideas of Emanuele Severino are put in comparison with this theoretical sketch.

This will be attempted also by means of the reference to Hempel’s paradox. Goodman’s point of view on induction takes as very relevant the notion of “entrenchment” while his conception of art gives a parallel importance to the whole context where we are required to express our evaluation of the meaning of the work of art, where the notion of “habits” seems to be involved in a very relevant manner. In both the cases, Goodman’s reflexion is related to his nominalism, but his strategy in the analysis of induction seems exposed to some objections, that we try to examine by relying on the notion of nonmonotonic reasoning, that we use also in the inquire about Hempel’s paradox. On this ground, we present some remarks on some of the main points of Goodman’s aesthetics.

The works of Gregory Bateson, Paul Ricoeur, Zygmunt Bauman, Bernard Rime and Karsten Stueber give the main coordinates for this research. The notion of empathy is interpreted in contextual terms. For this, the importance of hermeneutics, seen as the best approach to understand the meaning of the single cases, is asserted.

On the one hand, it seems that the knowledge of the Master is more advanced, but all the same on the other hand there are reasons to say that it is true the inverse. I consider this issue in relation with the question of the cognitive meaning of emotions. This point will be investigated also with reference to some interesting aspects of non-monotonic reasoning. Hegel’s conception of dialectic is briefly compared with the formal structure of non-monotonic reasoning and induction.

It will be sustained that the difficulties underlined by Jorgen Jorgensen with his “dilemma” concerning the logical analysis of imperatives, can be useful to show that there are more general problems in the attempt to conceive of human knowledge as intrinsecally determined by the format of intersubjectivism.
