Efficient management of services and delivering them on demand require proper scheduling of resources and requests. Load balancing aware scheduling techniques are employed to accomplish this, which distribute requests uniformly among resources and optimize resource utilization. In cloud computing, load balancers are essential for balancing workloads on resources. They ensure even workload distribution across all resources by transferring workloads from overloaded to underloaded resources. The proposed Load Balancing Improved Multi-Objective Particle Swarm Optimization (LBIMOPSO) technique aims to manage load uniformly and allocate tasks to the best-suited virtual machines. It is a robust optimization technique that considers multiple objective functions simultaneously and effectively balances workloads in a cloud computing environment. However, according to an existing survey, there is an improvement in makespan performance compared to proper load balancing across virtual machines. Therefore, the proposed LBIMOPSO algorithm improves resource utilization, makespan, and load balance deviation compared to traditional swarm-intelligencebased ant colony and particle swarm optimization algorithms.

By comparing the predicted brain age with the chronological age we determine the significance of specific algorithms in precisely calculating brain age in our proposed system. The models outcomes demonstrate the capabilities of antiquated machine learning algorithms particularly those found in neural networks and regression algorithms. The accuracy of brain age assessments in clinical stages should increase with the use of these methods. By improving brain age estimation accuracy our method will help with more neurological disease evaluations. Regression algorithms and neural network capabilities are employed to achieve this. This study provides information to aid in the development of clinical applications and identifies the major gaps in the assessment of machine learning algorithms for estimating brain age. By providing more precise and effective diagnoses the use of sophisticated algorithms not only improves accuracy but also transforms neurology.

It can connect us more easily to information and other people in a virtual world. Mobile phones turned into smart phones and since then this concept has erupted and morphed into Internet of Things (IOT). IOT is a network of objects or things that are embedded and enables the objects to collect and exchange data. So the objects can become even smarter day-byday. For example, mirrors provide a large surface to display information and to interact with. Everyone have mirrors at homes, schools, offices etc., thus the concept of smart mirror can be attractive and also been fantasized in futuristic movies. A smart two-way mirror is a science fiction and a part of optimistic vision of future and imagines a world which has screens and data that are available everywhere, ready to provide whatever information is needed at any moment. The main purpose of the system is to use it as a hands free product with an electronic display. When ...

In the biometric authentication we use the biometric traits of the user in order to identify the person. In this process we have considered the various biometric traits of the user like facial features, iris and finger prints of the user in order to authenticate the person. In the unimodal biometric authentication we take only one biometric trait of the user in order identify the person whereas in the multimodal biometric authentication we take two or more biometric traits of the person in order to identify the person. By using the multimodal biometric authentication it enhances the accuracy and the security than that of unimodal biometric system. The images of the fingerprint, iris and the face are taken as the input. Then using the Canny edge detection the features of the input images are detected. Then the fusion process is performed on these images and then they are compared to the database in order to see whether the images given are of authenticated person or not. Using the multimodal approach the false positive rate of the authentication is reduced. If the user is successfully authenticated then the gender of the person is classified by the face image provided.

Cloud is one of the advanced technology paradigms that deliver services to users on demand by cost per usage over the internet. Nowadays, a number of cloud services have rapidly increased to facilitate the user requirements. The cloud is able to provide anything as a service over web networks from hardware to applications on demand. Due to the complex infrastructure of the cloud, it needs to manage resources efficiently, and constant monitoring is required from time to time. Task scheduling plays an integral role in improving cloud performance by reducing the number of resources used and efficiently allocating tasks to the requested resources. The paper's main idea attempts to assign and schedule the resources efficiently in the cloud environment by using proposed Multi-Objective based Hybrid Initialization of Particle Swarm Optimization (MOHIPSO) strategy by considering both sides of the cloud vendor and user. The proposed algorithm is a novel hybrid approach for initializing particles in PSO instead of random values. This strategy can obtain the minimum total task execution time for the benefit of the cloud user and maximum resource usage for the benefit of the cloud provider. The proposed strategy shows improvement over standard PSO and the other heuristic initialization of PSO approach to reduce the makespan, execution time, waiting time, and virtual machine imbalance parameters are considered for comparison results.

In this crisis, it will be difficult to register in person and get vaccinated after waiting in a queue for a long period; thus, registering online is the safest and most convenient way to schedule slots on a convenient date and get vaccinated. We built this application using spring boot, which allows developers to directly get into coding without wasting time in setting up and configuring the environment. For authentication and authorization, we integrated it with keycloak, a third-party service, which is a simple way to make our webbased apps more secure and Keycloak provides distinctive features to the application like single Single-Sign On, OpenID Connect Support, Social Logins and many more. So, this is a web-based service where any individual can conveniently schedule their slots from anywhere according to the availability in their desired locations.

This project focuses on developing a methodology to facilitate computer cursor control for people with physical disabilities such as Quadriplegics and amputees. The proposed methodology takes real-time video input from the user using OpenCV and performs face recognition. The 68point landmark algorithm is used to locate the various facial features which can be used for cursor control. Opening/closing the mouth based on Mouth Aspect Ratio (MAR) indicates activation/deactivation of the cursor control. The nose tip is used for controlling and moving the cursor in all 4 directions by moving the head left, right, up and down. Eye Aspect Ratio (EAR) is used to detect eyes and eye flickering. Left and right eye blinks indicate left and right clicks respectively. Squinted eyes indicate scrolling of pages, which is beneficial while working with PDFs and other such documents. The proposed system requires very basic requirements like webcam and a few Python libraries such as OpenCV, Numpy, imutils, dlib and PyAutoGUI. Thus it would help the physically disabled users to efficiently use the computer, thus eliminating the need of a physical mouse interaction.
