Twenty diverse genotypes of tomato collected from different sources and all the genotype are grown with three replications in 4 m 2 plot, and the plant keeping 60 x 45 cm maintained between Row and Plant distance. They were evaluated for growth yield &quality attribute for all the traits. On the basis of overall findings of the present research study it was concluded that there is wide range of variation in tomato traits for all the characters studied. The genotypes Arka Abha (165.66cm) is highest the plant height, days to first flower open (29.15) and Flower/ cluster (9.66), lycopene (4.23mg/100gm), Shelf Life (5.66 Days) in Kashi Sharad. The highest fruit set/cluster (5.33), No of fruits/ plant (87.50), Fruit Index (1.43), TSS (7.61 0 Brix) in Pusa Cherry, and the average fruit weight (84.50gm), fruit yield/ plant (4kg) in Genotypes Kashi Aman. TLCV incidence % recorded minimum in the genotypes H-88-78-1 (10.55), Kashi Vishesh showed the minimum severity % of 13.88. The assessment of variation guides the breeder to select superior parents to initiate an effective and fruitful crossing programme to improve the genotypes.

Arka Bahar during kharif season with three growth regulators at different concentrations: Ethrel (100ppm, 200ppm, 300ppm), NAA (150 ppm, 200ppm, 250ppm) and GA3 (50ppm, 100ppm, 150ppm).Water was used as control. The growth regulators were sprayed at two and four leaf stage. All the treatments were replicated three times in a randomized block design keeping the plot size 2m×2m. Plant growth regulators treatments rendered their significant effect on almost all the growth, flowering and yield of bottle gourd. The treatment T9 GA3 150 ppm was found maximum in increasing the vine length (9.01m) whereas T3 Ethrel 200 ppm was found most effective in terms of days to first appearance of male (40.89 days) and female flower (45.44 days), node number to first male (8.11) and female flower (10.11), number of male (16.33) and female flowers (11.33) per vine, fruit diameter (8.67 cm), fr...

The study was carried out at Experimental field, Department of Horticulture, Naini Agriculture Institute, Sam Higginbottom University of Agriculture, Technology and Sciences, Prayagraj (U.P.), India during Rabi season 2021-2022. The experiment was laid out in a Factorial randomized block design (FRBD) with 8 treatments which is replicated thrice. The first factor consists of four different levels age of seedlings i,e. 25,30,35,40 days old seedlings, second factor with two different spacings 45×60 cm and 30×45 cm. In Growth parameters, T7 (40 days seedlings + spacing of 45×60 cm) recorded significantly highest number of leaves (80.49), leaf length (32.20 cm), plant spread (45.65 cm2) Whereas, plant height was recorded significantly highest (84.80 cm) in T6 (35 days seedlings + spacing of 30×4...

The data revealed that 100 seed weight showed highest direct positive effect on green pod yield per plant followed by number of pods per inflorescence, days to last green pod harvest, pod length, days to first flowering, vine length, pod width and seed per pod. YBMV incidence % showed indirect effect on 100 seed weight, number of pods per inflorescence, pod length, pod weight, pod width, number of green pod pickings, vine length and number of seeds per pod.

Green pod yield per plant was significantly positive correlated with 100 seed weight, pod length, pod width, pod per inflorescence, seeds per pod, pod weight, vine length, number of green pod picking and days to last green pod harvest, at genotypic as well as phenotypic level. Hence direct selection for these traits may lead to the development of high yielding genotypes of dolichos bean.

The experiment was laid out in complete randomized design (CRD), with eight treatments, replicated thrice with nutrient field technique hydroponics system and variety Mulayam of Spinach, the treatments were T1 (NPK 6.25 ml/plant), T2 (NPK 8.33 ml/plant), T3 (NPK 10.41 ml/plant), T4 (NPK 12.5 ml/plant), T5 (NPK 14.58 ml/plant), T6 (NPK 16.66 ml/plant), T7 (NPK 18.75 ml/plant) and T0 (NPK 0 ml/plant). From the present experimental findings, it is found that structure with treatment T4 was found best in terms of Growth and yield parameters of spinach in NFT hydroponic system followed by structure with T3 and T1 due to appropriate supply of plant nutrients and the water treated plants had the lowest values. Maximum gr...

India. The results of the present investigation, regarding the performance of six genotypes of Red Cabbage i.e. (CABRVAR - 1, CABRVAR - 2, CABRVAR – 3, CABRVAR – 4, CABRVAR – 5 and CABRVAR – 6) in two planting densities i.e. (60 x 45 cm and 60 x 60 cm) for plant growth, yield and quality of Red Cabbage, have been discussed and interpreted in the light of previous research work done in India and abroad. The experiment was conducted in 6x2 Factorial Randomized block design with 6 Genotypes of Red Cabbage obtained from different sources, were each genotype replicated thrice in different planting densities. From the present experimental findings it is found that the genotype G2 (CABRVAR - 2) foll...
