The subject of this study was a fifteen-year-old adolescent girl diagnosed with post-traumatic stress disorder following an act of incest by her stepfather. This study aimed to examine the effectiveness of trauma-focused cognitive behavioral therapy to reduce symptoms of post-traumatic stress disorder in the subject. The study used the single case-single subject A-B-A design. The intervention was trauma-focused cognitive behavioral therapy administered over 12 sessions. Symptoms of post-traumatic stress disorder were measured using the Child Posttraumatic Stress Disorder Symptom Scale (CPSS). Changes in the CPSS scores in the intervention and post-intervention processes showed that the post-traumatic stress disorder score changed from the moderate to the mild category. Since the Coronavirus Disease (COVID-19) was declared a pandemic by the World Health Organization, the number of people infected has increased. Until April 2021, the number of positive confirmed COVID-19 cases in Indonesia has reached 1.5 million cases. Of these, 1.3 million people became survivors. In many cases, survivors of COVID-19 are still symptomatic for more than 60 days after the first onset appeared. This condition is known as long COVID. Oleh karena itu, penulis melakukan intervensi psikologis berupa Psikoterapi Interpersonal untuk menurunkan gejala depresi perempuan korban kekerasan dalam rumah tangga. Skala yang digunakan dalam intervensi ini adalah Beck Depression Inventory (BDI-II) untuk menentukan tingkat depresi yang dialami partisipan. Analisis efektivitas terapi dalam intervensi dilakukan dengan menggunakan metode analisis deskriptif kuantitatif dengan menggunakan visual inspection, yaitu dengan melihat perubahan sebelum dan setelah diberikannya intervensi. Hasil yang diperoleh berdasarkan data deskriptif, rerata skor empirik depresi partisipan mengalami penurunan, apabila dibandingkan antara sebelum dengan sesudah dilakukan intervensi.

This research is important because depression has become a threat to mental and physical health worldwide. This study was conducted using single-case research design. The respondents in this study were a man who had severe depressive episodes with psychotic symptoms. Symptoms of depression are measured using the Beck Depression Inventory (BDI). Diagnosis is given after the researcher performs the assessment with the method of observation, interview, and psychological test. The researcher determined the baseline of the psychological condition of the subject as the basis for determining the intervention / psychotherapy. Cognitive-Behavior Therapy is given to the subject in six intervention sessions, consisting of problem formulation, thought catching, reality testing, negative mind-stopping, and behavior activation. Researchers add forgiveness technique to reduce feelings of guilt on the subject. The result of psychological intervention shows there is a decrease in the intensity of major symptoms of severe depressive episodes with psychotic symptoms on the subject.

The hypothesis was that there was a difference in depressive symptoms score between the experimental and the control group of the immigrant refugee after being given group therapy. This research uses non randomized pretest-posttest control group design. The subjects of the study were 10 immigrants of 30-40-year-old female refugees, divided into experimental and control groups. Non-parametric statistical analysis Mann-Whitney U showed no difference in depressive symptoms score between refugee immigrants experimental group and control group, p = 0,009 (p <0,05). Qualitative analysis shows there is a change of emotional expression on immigrant refugees in the experimental group. Respondents in this study were eight mothers of thalassemia patients who were divided into control groups and experimental groups. The scale used in this study is the Modified Connor-Davidson Resilience Scale. This study used a quasi-experimental design with a pretest-posttest control group design with follow-up. Data obtained in the study were analyzed using the Mann-Whitney nonparametric test to compare scores between groups given Therapy Support Groups and groups not given intervention. The results showed that there were differences in resilience scores between the control group and the experimental group after being given Support Group Therapy, with p = 0.024 (p <0.05). This study concluded that support group therapy was effective for increasing resilience in mothers who had children with thalassemia.
