LST calculations usde thermal band 10 and NDVI used Red band (Band 4) and InfraRed Band (Band 5). There are 5 LST classes, 17.25 oC -19.66 oC with an area of 908.16 Ha, 19.66 0C-22.08 oC covering 6973.71 Ha, 22.08 oC -24.49 oC covering 21748.26 Ha, 24.49 oC -26.90 oC covering an area of 4235.37 Ha, and 26.90 oC -29.31 oC with a wide coverage of 81.18 Ha, while NDVI values obtained 3 classes namely NDVI <0.2 of 1783.643 Ha, NDVI with a range of 0.2 – 0.5 covering an area of 28617.74 Ha, and areas with NDVI > 0.5 covering an area of 3544.87 Ha. The amount of LST is highly dependent on the type of land cover and land use. NDVI indicates the presence of vegetation in the study area. A negative relationship was found between LST and NDVI in Das Wanggu with a Correlation Coefficient of -0.179.

This research is the development of 4-D development model which consists of four phases (define, design, develop and dessiminate) but this researched just done in develop stage in efectiveness. The subjects of this research were 64 students from 2017 A and B section. The data were analyzed using descriptive qualitative and quantitative analysis. The results of this study indicate that the practical hand book based on problem-based learning students of biology education STKIP PGRI West Sumatra is efeectiveness because it can increase the activities, and learning outcome.

For this reason, an analysis of student needs was carried out for making project-based interactive digital books. This research is a quantitative descriptive study using a questionnaire as a data collection tool. The data is processed with a percentage formula. The results show that students and lecturers need project-based interactive digital books. So it can be concluded that the needs of students and lecturers for the availability of digital books are very much needed to be able to foster students' understanding and knowledge in the biology learning strategy and design course. The purpose of this study was to determine the relationship of learning motivation and student learning outcomes in biology learning media courses at STKIP PGRI Sumatera Barat. This research is a descriptive study. The sample are students at biology learning media course. Sample method using total sampling techniques and the research instrument was a student questionnaire. The results of this study, namely r count = 0.07 and r table = 0.266. This shows that the value of rcount < ttable which means there is no significant relationship. Thus, this research states that there is a very low and insignificant relationship between motivation and student learning outcomes in biology learning media courses at STKIP PGRI Sumatera Barat academic year 2018/2019.
