Through molecular technique, fungal isolates were identified. The study employed DNA sequencing and phylogenetic analysis to classify the fungal isolates accurately. Furthermore, in silico analyses provided insights into the pathogenicity mechanisms and genetic diversity of the identified fungal species. Functional annotation and pathway analysis elucidated metabolic pathways associated with pathogenesis and host interactions. Overall, our integrated approach provides a comprehensive understand of fungal diversity, evolution and pathogenicity in P.pinnata and A.syriaca. These findings lay the foundation of future research aimed at developing sustainable strategies for disease management and crop improvement in agricultural systems.
Assessment of Toxic Effect of Dibutyl Phthalate (DBP) on Acid and Alkaline Phosphatase in Goldfish (Carassius auratus) With Ameliorative Efficacy of Withania somnifera, 2024
This study explores the metabolic responses of goldfish (Carassius auratus) to dibutyl phthalate ... more This study explores the metabolic responses of goldfish (Carassius auratus) to dibutyl phthalate (DBP) exposure, emphasizing the therapeutic potential of Withania somnifera (Ashwagandha). DBP, a prevalent environmental pollutant and endocrine disruptor, is commonly found in plastics and personal care products, leading to significant contamination of aquatic ecosystems. The objective of this research is to assess the impact of DBP on the metabolic health of goldfish and evaluate the efficacy of Withania somnifera in mitigating DBP-induced metabolic disturbances. Following DBP exposure, groups of goldfish were treated with Withania somnifera extracts. The therapeutic efficiency of Withania somniferawas evaluated by comparing metabolic parameters of the treated groups with those of the DBP-only exposed group and a control group. Treatment with Withania somniferashowed significant amelioration of these effects, with treated fish exhibiting enzyme activities closer to those of the control group. This study highlights the detrimental impact of DBP on the health of goldfish and underscores the potential of Withania somnifera as a therapeutic agent in counteracting these effects. These findings suggest promising applications of Withania somnifera in environmental toxicology and the preservation of aquatic organism health.

Inorganic arsenic compounds can no longer be used in agriculture. The greatest use of arsenic in alloys is in lead-acid batteries for automobiles. Presently, arsenic is widely used in the electronics industry in the form of gallium arsenide and arsine gas as components in semiconductor devices. Keeping these points in view, the present study is undertaken to study the amount of arsenic in brain, liver and kidney of albino rats after acute and subacute treatments based on median lethal dose in terms of body weight, organ weight and their ratio.
