The algorithm for the technological process of obtaining a chemisorption composite material based... more The algorithm for the technological process of obtaining a chemisorption composite material based on waste chemical fibers filled with clay powders for the purification of wastewater from heavy metal ions has been developed. Non-woven materials obtained from polyurethane-polyamide chemical fiber waste were used as a basis in the work. To increase the mechanical strength, they were fastened by the needle punching method with a knitted fabric with a surface density of 240 g/m2, which was made by plaited weaving using cotton yarn with a linear density of 25 tex and polyethylene complex threads with a linear density of 16.5 tex on a single-font circular knitting machine of the MS type. To strengthen the sorption capacity, clay powders of the montmorillonite type were introduced into the fibrous base in the form of filled dispersions of starch (2-3 %) or polyvinyl alcohol (3%) in the amount of 5 to 10% of the mass of the dispersion. Sorption-filtering fibrous material filled with clay minerals can be used for wastewater treatment of light and chemical industry enterprises. The use of clay minerals through their introduction into the fibrous base will reduce the hydraulic resistance of the sorbent layer, without using a sorbent of coarse fractions, which will preserve the area of the active absorbing surface. Wastewater treatment can be carried out by passing water through a sorption-filtering element. Cleaning installations can accommodate several sorption-filtering elements at the same time, which increases the efficiency of water purification. It is possible to use chemisorption composite material for cleaning silted drains without the threat of adsorbent clogging, and in return water supply systems, which will reduce the risk of depositing mineral salts on the walls of water purification equipment and ensure high-quality operation of treatment facilities.

Methodology. Polymeric films containing polyvinyl alcohol, modified starch, glycerol and antiseptic drug decamethoxin were used in the investigation. For dissolution, water of grade 3 of purity was used. Control of the dissolution samples and the construction of the calibration graphic for DCM was performed spectrophotometrically on the OPTIZEN POP UV VIS device ("Mecasys", South Korea) at a wavelength of 198 nm.

The leather industry generates a significant amount of various wastes, and their utilisation is a... more The leather industry generates a significant amount of various wastes, and their utilisation is a serious task for researchers. Ways to reuse or decontaminate such waste are being developed intensively. Unfortunately, the reuse of finished leather, which eventually becomes waste, is almost unexplored. The present research is designed to evaluate the potential of finished leather hydrolysis to obtain protein hydrolysates suitable for reuse in leather processing and to establish factors that influence leather quality during such an application. Enzyme preparation Vilzim PRO Conc was characterised as a potential agent for such hydrolysis. The addition of 3-4% Vilzim PRO Conc is appropriate for the enzymatic stage of the hydrolysis process. It was established that after alkalineenzymatic hydrolysis of used leather powder the obtained hydrolysates are complicated systems containing proteins, chromium compounds, dyes, fatliquoring materials, etc. Hydrolysates could be used for the dyeing of chromed leather. The method of preparation for dyeing and dyeing of wetblue leather with the use of hydrolysate influences the depth of dye penetration and the quality of finished leather. It was established that the neutralisation process is not necessary before such dyeing. Also, an increased amount of formic acid is necessary to improve the bonding of fatliquors with dermal tissue after treatment with hydrolysate.

The influence of concentration of additives silver/silica (Ag/SiO2) and silver/alumina (Ag/Al2O3)... more The influence of concentration of additives silver/silica (Ag/SiO2) and silver/alumina (Ag/Al2O3) on the processes of structure-formation in the thermodynamically incompatible mixtures of polypropylene/copolyamide (PP/CPA) and the properties of complex threads from nano-filled PP microfibers were researched. Nano-fillers, that were used, show the compatabilization action in the mixture, reducing the value of interfacial tension and increasing the degree of dispersion and deformation of drops of disperse phase. This leads to a decrease in the average diameter of PP microfibers and reduction of mass fraction of films and particles, which the more perfect matrix-fibrillar structure is forming. The researched silver-containing nano-additives provide to complex threads an antimicrobial properties and improve their mechanical properties.

The article devotes the study of the environmental responsibility of automotive enterprises from ... more The article devotes the study of the environmental responsibility of automotive enterprises from the point of view of solving global environmental problems. The authors mainly focus on the issues of financial stability, which determines enterprises’ ability to realize sustainable development goals (SDGs). The synthesis of scientific approaches allows for generalizing and developing theoretical foundations for understanding the role of finance and investment in achieving SDGs. The authors proposed a methodology for analyzing the influence of financial stability on the possibilities of realizing SDGs and carried out its approbation on the example of automobile enterprises. In general, the authors identify the main challenges, trends, and problems of financial support for the implementation of sustainable development goals, which allows setting key objectives for the near future. According to the analysis results, an algorithm for sustainable development management was proposed, which differs in complexity and multilevel approach. The role of automotive corporations in shaping the eco-environment in their countries requires further research.

The characteristic features of forming the collagen structure in the beam-house process and tanni... more The characteristic features of forming the collagen structure in the beam-house process and tanning have been investigated. It is shown that the moderate derma-swelling rate during liming provides effective fixation of the derma structure in tanning. The formation of strong crosslinkages during tanning leads to the change in the deformation character of derma collagen, especially in the compression test. The usage of the glutaric aldehyde by tanning allows to reduce the consumption of chrome compounds or fully exclude them and at the same time to receive soft elastic leather with a high volume yield.

There is one established, that glycerol’s injection in (7,0 ÷ 15,0)% of mass. amount into polyme... more There is one established, that glycerol’s injection in (7,0 ÷ 15,0)% of mass. amount into polymer blend of polypropylene/poly(vinyl alcohol) (PP/PVA) of mass equation 30/70% is not changing the structure forming character of PP into PVA matrix: there are parts, films and external shells being formed alongside with PP fibers. When at this, during concentration increase of selective plastifier, there are PP fiber forming process into PP matrix gonna being bad, and those are consisting in average microfiber diameters and mass part of films increase. There are features of structure forming, being linked in plastifying effect of glycerol on the blend melts, and, when simultaneously with, in the those decrease of kinetical stability. There are crystallization temperature of PVA increasing, simultaneously at plasticizer content of 7,0 % of mass., and there is PP crystallization peak absent through polymer amorphization. There is crystallinity’s degree of PP decreases, through high dispersion state of polymer.

наукової роботи є розробка екологічно-безпечної технології оздоблення текстильних матеріалів з ви... more наукової роботи є розробка екологічно-безпечної технології оздоблення текстильних матеріалів з використанням екстракту чашолисток полуниці та визначення впливу протрави солями різних металів на якість забарвлення. Методика. Технологічні параметри процесу фарбування екстрактом чашолисток полуниці визначали для лляного, бавовняного, віскозного та вовняного текстильних матеріалів з використанням попередньої обробки солями металів Cu 2+ , Zn 2+ , Ni 2+ , Fe 3+ , Al 3+ та без неї. Для оцінки якості забарвлення визначали колірні характеристики досліджуваних зразків з використанням програмного забезпечення Adobe Photoshop CS6. Стійкість забарвлення текстильних матеріалів до фізико-хімічних впливів визначали стандартними методами текстильного матеріалознавства. Результати. Розроблено екологічно-безпечну технологію оздоблення целюлозних та вовняних текстильних матеріалів з використанням екстракту чашолисток полуниці. Фарбування текстильних матеріалів з целюлозних волокон дозволило отримати забарвлення від світло-до темно-коричневого кольору. Найяскравішими при фарбуванні виявилися зразки на основі вовняних волокон. В залежності від виду протрави, отримані наступні кольори: катіон Cu 2+ дав можливість отримати зелено-коричневий, катіони Al 3+, Zn 2+ , Ni 2+ надали кольору жовто-коричневих відтінків; катіон Fe 3+ дав кольори у чорно-коричневій гаммі. Загалом, міцність забарвлення до сухого тертя для текстильних матеріалів після фарбування екстрактом чашолисток полуниці максимальна для всіх зразків, крім бавовняного та лляного матеріалів попередньо оброблених катіонами заліза. Стійкість до мокрого тертя зразків з вовняних волокон склала 4-5 балів, а для зразків з целюлозних волокон дещо гірша-в межах 3 балів. Міцність забарвлення до дії поту в бавовняному, лляному, віскозному та вовняному зразках складає від 4 до 5 балів. Стійкість до дії мильно-содового розчину для зразків з целюлозних волокон становить переважно 4-5 балів, а для вовняних-4 бали. Наукова новизна роботи полягає у визначенні основних закономірностей процесу фарбування з використанням як барвника екстракту чашолисток полуниці, що є відходом харчової промисловості, після попередньої обробки солями металів Cu 2+ , Zn 2+ , Ni 2+ , Fe 3+ , Al 3+. Практичне значення. Розроблено технологічні параметри процесу фарбування екстрактом чашолисток полуниці лляного, бавовняного, віскозного та вовняного текстильних матеріалів з використанням попередньої обробки солями металів Cu 2+ , Zn 2+ , Ni 2+ , Fe 3+ , Al 3+. The effect of technological conditions of the process and zirconia (ZrO2) nanoparticles on the pr... more The effect of technological conditions of the process and zirconia (ZrO2) nanoparticles on the properties of fine-fibrous filter materials (FMs) obtained by matrix polymer extraction from a microfibrillar composite formed using the material extrusion-based additive manufacturing method from a polypropylene (PP)/copolyamide blend is studied. Different processing schemes were used for obtaining filaments for material extrusion: scheme I—the use of a single-screw extruder at the stage of compounding; scheme II—the use of a single-screw extruder at the stage of compounding and orientational stretching in the course of strand formation; scheme III—the use of a twin-screw extruder at the stage of compounding, scheme IV—the addition of ZrO2 nanoparticles and use of a twin-screw extruder. It has been shown the possibility of reducing the diameters of the formed in situ PP microfibrils by using the twin-screw extruder, as well as additional orientation drawing. The introduction into the melt of ZrO2 nanoparticles provides further improvement of the microstructure—the average diameter of the microfibrils is reduced by 1.4 times compared with the initial blend. Developed FMs are characterized by high efficiency of air purification from solid particles with a size of 0.3 μm. At the same time, the use of nanoadditives is the most effective—a two-layer FM with nanoparticles provides cleaning efficiency at the level of four- to six-layer materials without filler.

There have been presented electrophysical (electrical volume resistivity), mechanical (tensile st... more There have been presented electrophysical (electrical volume resistivity), mechanical (tensile strength and elongation at break) and rheological (melt flow index) features of polyethylene compositions filled by copper plated graphite, multiwall carbon nanotubes and polyaniline in this article. An increase in the volume content of electroconductive fillers in the polyethylene matrix results in a monotonically falling curves with a well-defined threshold of leakage. The decrease in tensile strength by ~ 4 times and relative elongation by ~ 7 times have been observed in the polyethylene composite films having copper plated graphite and polyaniline up to 30 % vol. The tensile strength for conductive polyethylene compositions filled by multiwall carbon nanotubes slightly increases by ~ 1.1 times, but relative elongation decreases dramatically by ~ 5 times. The melt flow index decreases with the increase of concentration by exponential law for the compositions filled by multiwall carbon nanotubes and polyaniline by ~ 1.4 times and increases for copper plated graphite filled compositions by ~ 2 times due lubricating effect. There has been developed technological process of production for electroconductive polymer composite materials based on polyethylene by pressing method.

Collagen is an important biopolymer in numerous applications due to its special characteristics, ... more Collagen is an important biopolymer in numerous applications due to its special characteristics, such as biodegradability and weak antigenecity. Interest recently, has grown in fish collagen. This stems from the fact, that the use of animal collagen is unsafe due to the effects from cattle rabies disease. Furthermore, fish collagen is 96 % identical to human protein. Modern fish production is accompanied by the formation of a large number of protein-containing wastes. Depending on the degree of fish processing waste hydrolysis we obtain different products, such as feed additives or growth accelerators. Available technologies are unacceptable, because they require the consumption of large amounts of time and energy. The enzymatic method of obtaining collagen hydrolysates is the most suitable because it can be implemented under milder conditions and it prevents the destruction of amino acids, carbohydrates and other substances contained in the waste. Application of the alkaline enzymatic hydrolysis method with hydrogen peroxide pretreatment at elevated temperature provides a collagen hydrolysate, which is characterized by a high content of total nitrogen; collagen is amorphous, has fully homogeneous structure and has a balanced amino acid composition.

Various methods of neutralisation of hide unhaired with sodium silicate and sodium sulphide have ... more Various methods of neutralisation of hide unhaired with sodium silicate and sodium sulphide have been investigated seeking to reduce or refuse ammonium sulphate conventionally applied for the neutralisation. Due to the high release of ammonia into the environment, alternative materials are being sought that do not impair the properties of the hide being processed and that a high-quality chromed semi-finished product of leather can be obtained. In the research, different methods of hide neutralisation and their influence on subsequent hide treatment processes qualitative indexes of the obtained leather were analysed and described. It has been found that after unhairing with sodium silicate and sodium sulphide hide, it is appropriate to neutralise and bate the hide by adding 1 % ammonium sulphate, 0.8 % lactic acid and 0.15 % proteolytic enzyme preparation OROPON ON2. Investigation of the influence of the composition of polymeric solubilizers on the phase solubilization in water of the model active pharmaceutical ingredient of flavonoid nature hesperidin.Methods. Hesperidin was chosen as a model substance of characteristic chemical structure. Pharmaceutically acceptable high molecular weight polymers based on polyvinylpyrrolidone (PVP) with a molecular weight of from 2500 to 58000 D were used for research; cetylpyridinium chloride; β-cyclodextrin. Phase solubilization of hesperidin was investigated by the method of Higuchi and Connors. The concentration of hesperidin was determined spectrophotometrically by absorption at 284 nm. The phase solubility diagram was constructed as the dependence of the concentration of hesperidin in solution on the concentration of the polymer.
