In this document we address the different causes that affect the proliferation of academic mobility programs in higher education and thus be able to explain the complexities that have arisen due to globalization and the internationalization of higher education. Without forgetting that the ERASMUS program is the pioneering mobility program in which we will devote special attention from its creation until analyzing what the future will be for the program and the possibility of its

continuation later than 2020. Also, we show that there are more students interested in international mobility programs versus national mobility. Therefore, through a quantitative study conducted with students of the University of Santiago shows the evolution of the implementation of academic mobility programs in the last decade through the visualization of data and performing a regression analysis to investigate the relation of the mobilities with other external factors such as, the number of scholarships, the cost of living of the countries to carry out the program, and the main motivations when participating in those programs.

This document presents the advantages and disadvantages when carrying out immersion linguistic programs as a way of transmitting content. Also, the purpose of this document is to show the effectiveness of achieving the goal of building knowledge through the immersion linguistic programs. It is very important to study the more effective ways for the students to acquire comprehensible input and what difficulties they find during the learning process when trying to understand content through a second language. As a result, this document pursues to study the characteristics of using immersion linguistic programs in elementary school as a way of teaching content with the goal of building knowledge.
