This trend has been bolstered by government initiatives and incentives promoting cashless transactions. The study aims to contribute to the ongoing efforts to encourage cashless transactions and move towards a cashless society in Malaysia and beyond. The study collected data from 443 university students who had used e-wallets for payment transactions. The analysis examined the relationships between key constructs in the Technology Continuance Theory framework. The results revealed that a positive attitude towards e-wallets significantly influences students' intention to continue using them. Additionally, perceived usefulness emerged as a crucial factor influencing students' attitudes and overall satisfaction with e-wallets. However, the study did not find a significant relationship between perceived ease of use and attitude, suggesting that ease of use may not be a primary driver of students' attitudes toward e-wallets. The theoretical implications of this study contribute to a deeper understanding of e-wallet adoption among the younger generation in higher learning institutions and provide valuable insights for the industry players. The practical implications offer guidance to key players in shaping e-wallet applications to meet the specific needs of university students, ultimately encouraging greater adoption and usage. Future research could explore additional variables and employ longitudinal studies for more comprehensive results.

It has the ability to improve accuracy and efficiency while also lowering costs and providing fresh insights into financial markets and investments. This review will look at some of the important areas of financial management research that AI has influenced. One of the most notable effects of AI on financial management research has been in risk management. AI algorithms, with their ability to analyze vast amounts of data, can detect patterns and anomalies that humans may not notice right away and have had a significant impact on financial forecasting and prediction, generating predictions about future market movements and investment opportunities by analyzing historical data, market trends, and other relevant factors. In conclusion, artificial intelligence (AI) has had a tremendous impact on financial management research, r...

Cloud computing allows educational users a more flexible, accessible, and wide range of education resources. In this study, the technology acceptance model (TAM) was used as the foundation to explore the effects of perceived usefulness, perceived ease of use with two proposed additional variable: security and learning environment towards using cloud computing. The questionnaire was distributed using convenient sampling and a total of 664 higher education institution members consisting of lecturers, students and staffs participated in this research. The response was analysed using the Partial Least Squares Structural Equation modeling (PLS-SEM), which provides evidence of the reliability and validity of the Technology Acceptance Model (TAM) in this study. The result shows that perceived ease of use and perceived usefulness positively and significantly influence the intention to use cloud computing. It is also seen that s...

However, the impact studies have found that the implementation of this project has several weaknesses such as lack of infrastructure support, weak IT knowledge, and lack of awareness among public sector employees causing applications not to be fully utilized. Therefore, it is crucial to conduct a study to measure the acceptance of government cloud project because there has been much investment in the project. This study applied Unified Theory of Acceptance and Use of Technology (UTAUT), Technology Readiness Index (TRI) and several factors to develop the research model which is divided into two main factors: technological and human. The technological factor might determine the likelihood of its acceptance by the public sector and might stimulate them to accept it. The human factor as the char...

The benefits of cloud computing enable many organizations, including the public sector, to use this technology to provide the best service experience. However, there is an issue with the implementation of cloud-based applications when their usage is less than the number of applications offered. Therefore, a study on the acceptance of cloud computing in the public sector should be conducted. This paper aims to evaluate the validity and reliability of the instrument for cloud computing acceptance in Malaysian public sectors. The developed instruments are analyzed through validity and reliability phases. The validity analysis phase involves two stages of face validity and expert validity. The Content Validity Index (CVI) is used, and the feedback of the panel is considered in improving the items used. The reliability phase was conducted by performing an analysis to evaluate Cronbach ‘alpha for each item and also testing using Exploratory Factor Analysis (EFA). The final instrument contained 71 items of 5-point Likert scale multiple-choice options, classified under 15 variables. As a result, this instrument is successfully validated and are reliable to be used in the actual data collection.

Lack of the ICT literacy skills would hinder children from getting maximum benefits despite massive spending by the government in the educational sector. This paper has two objectives. First, it reviews the literature on the common practices of assessing students' ICT literacy level. Second, it attempts to highlight the potential of the applicability of log file analysis as a tool to assess ICT literacy skill. In this pilot study involving nine school children, the researchers investigated whether the children who own electronic books(e-books) have adequate ICT literacy skill. The log file analysis allows the classification of their expertise into beginner, intermediate or expert based on the response time of completing the given tasks. This paper reported a promising approach in using the log file analysis. It is hoped that more research will be undertaken that exploit the benefits of log file analysis as a tool to assess ICT literacy skills among the Malaysian citizen.

Technology has replaced face-to-face teaching and learning nearly totally. This health disaster has accelerated digitization in the world of education, which was previously only available without a repulsive factor. Cloud computing technology has been widely used in education, including higher education, enabling teaching resources, educational information, notes, lectures, and academic assessments to be accessed and shared online. Yet, in celebrating the greatness of technology, are users ready to accept an explosion of information resources and access openly online through cloud-based services? Thus, this research will investigate the Higher Education Institution (HEI) users' readiness and acceptance of cloud computing. The research employs the Technology Acceptance Model (TAM) and Technology Readiness Index (TRI) model together with Structural Equation Modeling (SEM) to investigate 470 individuals from HEIs in Malaysia. Perceived Ease of Use and Perceived Usefulness are found to be positively significant in explaining why a user decides to use cloud computing. Optimism and innovativeness have found to affect the factors of technology acceptance significantly. In contrast, discomfort and insecurity do not affect technology acceptance factors, except for insecurity that negatively impacts Perceived Usefulness. This study contributes to another finding to studying technology readiness and acceptance, especially in higher education.

The transition from conventional computing to the virtual world helps organisations to maximise their potential. However, not all users can accept cloud computing adoption. Failure to understand the factors of user's acceptance will negatively impact the organisation's mission of empowering the technology. Therefore, this study proposes to assess to what extent the users are accepting cloud computing. This study adopts the unified theory of acceptance and use of technology (UTAUT) and six technological and human factors assessed for the Malaysian public sectors. Survey data from several ministries were analysed using partial least squares-structural equation modelling (PLS-SEM). The study found out that performance expectancy, compatibility, security, mobility, information technology (IT) kno...

The use of the physical data center is no longer the preferred option as this technology is very helpful for organizations in reducing the cost of data center operations. Government agencies are also taking advantage of saving these cloud computing operations to complement and improve facilities for the people. This paper focuses on the implementation of cloud computing initiatives introduced by Malaysian government called 1GovCloud. The purpose is to find out which agencies utilize the technology and the extent of the use of 1GovCloud among the agencies. A preliminary study was conducted through interviews with officials from Malaysian Administrative Modernization and Management Planning Unit (MAMPU) and telephone interviews with IT officers of the agencies involved. The findings revealed that about 61 public agencies are using 1GovCloud and 15 of them have shown mixed use between 1GovCloud and regular...

In fact, there are lots of free cloud storage provider these days whereby user can easily store and shared their organizational data easily and efficiently. Both government and private sectors are looking into optimizing their cloud data storage. However, some of them are still in the early implementation phase with issues on both technological and human factors need to be properly taken care of to ensure its success. In the case of Malaysia our Government highly encouraged the use of cloud computing technology. Given that it is in the early implementation phase it is important to understand the factors that contribute to the use of cloud computing. This study, review studies done in health. Higher learning institution and public sector. It was found that the most contributing factors for use o...
