The main reasons for this decline have been the lack of market for these minerals. Nowadays, several new copper deposits have been evaluated but it is worth underlining that the amount of mineral reserves in these deposits has been limited. Although the constant interest in these copper deposits, from foreign and domestic companies, still today, there is a lack in investments for opening new mines in these deposits. The main reason is the limited amount of copper ore in these deposits. This paper analyses the mining assessment of one of these copper deposits with about a million tons of extracted mineral reserves. Based on the geological medium of this deposit and the continuity of the ore bodies, the mining method and the dimensions of the mining units have been selected which, due to the concrete conditions, realize a high annual production of mineral with low mining loss indica...

Mineral exploration, exploitation and processing constitute a key component of the Albanian economy, due to a traditional mining industry that has been a solid foundation to the country economic sector generating substantial revenues. The minerals mined, and treated in the past, which still remain in Albania, include mainly chrome, copper, iron-nickel, coal, oil etc. One of the biggest challenges of the Albanian mining today is the need for modern planning and management. To reach this goal the best instrument to be used is modelling of mineral sources. Mine modelling has solved many technical problems in the exploration process, mine designing, and extraction of minerals. Mine modelling in Albania started very early and methods have progressed and advanced in time. During 1950-1990 main modelling methods have been mathematical and geometrical. New democratic changes on 1991 brought the opening of Albanian with world, what ...

Their industrial exploitation is based on mining, metallurgical, economic, environmental, and state social factors. Mining factors such as production capacities, mining costs and the realization of indicators of loss and dilution are the determinants of the success of a mining activity. The value of a mining project, which is based on limited reserves, is very sensitive to loss indicators and dilution, as each lost tonnage of minerals affects the value of the resources. In this article, we will discuss the degree of impact of the above factors, while paying attention to achieving the most optimal indicators of loss and dilution. In mining activities with limited reserves and where the value of a mineral tone extracted from the ground is high, is required to increase the extract / loss ratio and maintaining a fair ratio between the indicators of loss and dilution

ABSTRACT
The challenge of the exploration science in the recent years is the optimal management of the mineral reserves of the source in three stages, the estimation of reserves of a deposit, the preparation of the mine to extract as much mineral as possible and the technological processing of the extracted mineral, as a unique asset for the realization of a successful mining activity. Requests for a complete modeling of the ore bodies, creating a precise content of description and graphics, have brought successful preparation and use of many software in today's practice of mining. The paper at hand represents a modest contribution in the field of use of the program Micromine for building a historic database for the iron-nickel source of Skroskës, for use in a second phase to evaluate all mining processes that take place in this mine.

For a long time, even in the capital city of Albania, Tirana, was impossible to find the names of the streets, apartment numbers, what brought a total confusion. This situation continued until 2010, when started to be implemented a project financed by the EU, for modernization of National Address System, already implemented. This system, that is essential for the nowadays modern society established for the first time in Albania. It focused, on beginning, on creation and management of the Spatial Data on local and central level. This article presents a full information for this system, methods used and the way of its using. The entire system is based on GIS technology.
