Amid growing concerns about the variability of the marketplace, increased regional and international competition, and rapid technological evolutions, organizations are continually seeking innovative ways to get more work accomplished with an increasingly streamlined, cost-effective workforce. The study provides a comparison of traditional organizational work and workforce planning strategies with those of "lean but agile" organizations, highlighting an array of measurable factors that affect both current and future productivity as well as impact growth.
