This study aims to see the general distribution of academic ability and the tendency of further s... more This study aims to see the general distribution of academic ability and the tendency of further study of junior high school students in West Jakarta. This research is ex-post facto with the quantitative descriptive method. The research indicators include academic achievement, most preferred subjects, further studies, aspirations, and education level. The population of the study is grade IX students of public and private junior high schools in West Jakarta. The sample was established using the cluster random sample technique. Descriptive statistical data analysis technique was used to describe the data for each indicator. The results of the study show that (1) academic achievement based on Report Report Value Data Collection System (SIDANIRA) score range of private junior high schools is 70.73-92.23, and that of state junior high schools is 73.00-87.07; (2) in terms of the most preferred subjects, 16% of public junior high school students chose social studies, and 20% of private junior high school students chose science and English; (3) 68% of public junior high school students continue to vocational high school (SMK), 73% of private junior high school students continue to senior high school (SMA); (4) 52% of public junior high school students aspired to become entrepreneurs, and 60% private junior high school students aspired to become entrepreneurs; (5) 7% of the parents' education level of public junior high school students is tertiary education, 35% of the parents' education level of private junior high school students is tertiary education.

The development of tools includes the ability to work, mastery of knowledge, specialized skills and managerial skills of students at level 5 qualification level. The type of research used by Research and Development (R & D) with ADDIE (Analysis, Design, Development, Implementation, and Evaluation) models. Model validation had on conceptual models and hypothetical models. The results of limited trials obtained a score of 3.4 with the meaning below the model can be appropriately applied. The results of the field trial received a score of 3.38 which include in the excellent category, and the product was considered sufficient for use. The problem in this study is the lack of knowledge of young women about nutrition and reproductive health and the lack of use of learning media in schools. This research is quasi-experimental research in the form of a pretestposttest with a control group design with 180 respondents in several vocational schools in Jakarta and Bogor. The normality test is done using the formula Lilliefors and obtained Larithmetic for learning video media by 0.110 and Larithmetic for conventional media 0.126 with Ltable = 0.093, because Larithmetic > Ltable, it can be concluded that the two data is not normally distributed. The research used a quantitative method with 204 Vocational High School students in culinary study programs taken from three State Vocational Schools in the city of Bekasi, Indonesia. The data were collected using such instruments as interview, documents and questionnaire. The results of the study showed that there was no significant influence the ability to process food towards the interest in entrepreneurship as there was also no significant influence of self-efficacy towards the interest in entrepreneurship. It was also found that state vocational high school students in Bekasi, Indonesia, had very low self-confidence and self-efficacy indicating that they had low motivation for entrepreneurship.
The purpose of this study was to identify in detail the nutritional knowledge and reproductive he... more The purpose of this study was to identify in detail the nutritional knowledge and reproductive health of adolescent girls as an exploration effort in making interactive learning videos based on community empowerment. In general, this study uses a research and development approach by adopting ADDIE Analysis, Design, Development, Implementation, and Evaluation models. At the Analysis stage, it was carried out by exploiting knowledge of nutrition and reproductive health of female adolescents in the age range of 14-20 years, carried out by a survey method for young women aged 14-20 years. The results showed that the mastery of nutritional knowledge in young women scored 65.65, and the aspects of reproductive health knowledge scored 75.25. The conclusion, in general, is that young women's experience of nutrition and reproductive health is still in the low category, so further research is needed in the form of Learning Media Development for Increasing Mothers' Knowledge of Nutrition and Reproductive Health of Community-based Female Adolescents.

The purpose of this research is to develop life skill education model for students at basic education level oriented to the development of discourse and work attitude to provide basic skill to the students. The findings are targeted in three stages of research. In the first year, developing instruments, and interviewing guidelines for studying and mapping out local wisdom skills in a number of areas, and the need for early knowledge, attitudes and skills for learners at the elementary level of education to prepare for entry into the world work. The second year, developing a model of vocationalization based on local wisdom at the level of basic education to find solutions in an effort to equip and prepare basic education graduates who do not continue their education to become a productive and competitive workforce to face global competition, especially in facing the ASEAN Economic Community. The third year, implement the vocationalization model of skill-based education of local wisdom that has been developed at the level of basic education and conduct in-depth study of obstacles and supporting factors in its implementation. The results of the first year's research, in the form of interview instruments and guidelines that have been reviewed by experts consist of 1) local potential, 2) basic selection of skill types in schools, 3) availability of equipment and materials for skills practice, 4) resources at school, 5) support the parties to the implementation of skills learning, and 6) the process of learning skills. In addition, the instrument also comes with questions to explore stakeholder perceptions of the Workshop subjects as a skill at school. The aspects that are explored include 1) self-awareness, 2) rational thinking skills, 3) interpersonal skills, 4) cooperation, 5) scientific thinking skills, and 6) vocational skills.
International experience helps people to obtain an excellent human capital which significantly pl... more International experience helps people to obtain an excellent human capital which significantly plays a crucial role to predict individuals’ accomplishment both in academic and career. Therefore, this study purports to explore the psychological capital, social support, and career capital among Indonesian students who study in Taiwan. The participants consist of 120 students who were randomly selected and completed the online questionnaires. The findings of this study revealed that Indonesian students who study in Taiwan achieve an above average on their career capital, social support, and psychological capital. Furthermore, there were high and medium relationships among the three variables. It also demonstrated that students’ social support fully mediated the relationship between students’ career capital and psychological capital. Based on the research findings, conclusions and practical implications were provided.

Penelitian menggunakan metode survey untuk mengetahui tingkat penerapan HACCP pada warung makan kampus. Lokasi penelitian ini di sekitar kampus A Universitas Negeri Jakarta dengan 25 responden pemilik warung makan kampus. Penelitian dilakukan pada bulan Juli – Oktober 2006. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa penerapan HACCP pada warung kampus menunjukkan data penanganan bahan mentah 96.15%, pemilihan bahan 95%, persiapan 94.25%, pengolahan 99%, dan penyajian 91.5%. Secara umum rata-rata penerapan HACCP pada warung makan kampus dilingkungan kampus A Universitas Negeri Jakarta tergolong tinggi dengan tingkat penerapan rata-rata 95%.
