Likewise, efforts to provide sufficient logistics and human resources to meet the needs of the inspection and tracing. The method used in this research is descriptive qualitative research method. Basically, the research method is a scientific way of obtaining data for specific purposes and uses. The results of this study are that the stigma given. to. a person. or group. of people. often causes the recipient of the stigma to be discriminated against by the majority group, so that they feel rejected by their environment. The conclusion is that stigma can be eliminated through a massive and continuous health campaign in order to raise awareness about infection and high empathy to help anyone in need.

At least there are more than 200 countries that are battling the corona virus outbreak with the death toll reaching hundreds of thousands of people. In humans, coronaviruses cause generally mild respiratory infections, such as colds, although some forms of disease such as SARS, MERS, and Covid-19 are more lethal. The author uses a qualitative or descriptive research method approach. Research is intended to find the truth or justify the truth. The results and discussion of this research are that sociologically the approach taken by the Lurah Village Government in an effort to fight Covid-19 is by socializing about the dangers of the Covid-19 outbreak, giving an appeal to always maintain a healthy and clean lifestyle, to spraying disinfectants into homes the citizens. Changes in community behavior in the village of Lurah before and when the Covid-19 virus became very apparent. For example, the habit of residents to wash their hands. If previously residents were indifferent to personal hygiene and the environment, now they look more concerned. In conclusion, the Government of the Village of the Lumbar District of Plumbon, Cirebon Regency is considered quite successful in educating, inviting, and changing people's behavior, especially in implementing a healthy and clean lifestyle.

A decrease in biodiversity is observed as the salinity of the lagoons increase (Table 1), revealing the higher salinity tolerance of Marinimicrobium and Marinobacter species compared to that of Halomonas and Acinetobacter species here reported. To the best of our knowledge, this is the first comprehensive study in the field of geomicrobiology based on this technique. The studied microbial ecosystem was located nearly 3000 m above sea level within the driest desert on Earth, the Atacama in Chile. Enhancement of carotenoid Raman signal intensity close to the surface was registered at different areas of endolithic colonization dominated by algae, with cyanobacteria present as well. This is interpreted as an adaptation mechanism to the excessive solar irradiation. On the other hand, cyanobacteria synthesize scytonemin as a passive UV-screening pigment (found at both the hypoendolithic and cryptoendolithic positions). The distribution of the scytonemin Raman signal was ...

In lichen thalli, it has been observed that glutaraldehyde used with phosphate buffer produces artefacts in the Myrmecia algal cells. The aim, therefore, was to determine whether these changes occur with different buffer concentrations, and to find another fixation method that does not produce these artefacts. In the present study, different concentrations of phosphate buffer are tried while the occurring ultrastructural changes are observed. The most important are cellular plasmolysis, presence of dense bodies that sometimes have a myelinic shape in the cytoplasm, and presence of dense half-moon structures near the plasmalemma. These changes occur from the lowest to the highest buffer concentration. Faced with the necessity to discard the buffer as a fixing vehicle in certain lichen thalli with Myrmecia phycobiont, the use of glutaraldehyde in bidistilled water is tested in two different conditions. This fixing procedure is fairly optimal when the algal symbiont is studied, whereas fixation in glutaraldehyde-buffer is more appropriate for the fungal component. We wish to thank Teresa CARNOTA & Fernando PINTO for their technical assistance. SEM-BSE also can contribute to a better understanding of the relations between the symbionts of crustose lichens, of rock-inhabiting organisms in general, and biodeterioration processes. Moreover, BSE composition images of finely polished transverse sections through the contact zone, combined with energy dispersive spectroscopy (EDS), may supply informations about biogeophysical and biogeochemical weathering. Examples are given and illustrated here, using one folióse (Parmelia conspersa) and two crustose lichens (Aspicilia sp., Lecidea auriculata).
