It has been used for over 7 decades now and a number of side effects have been reported with the drug. The notable side effects have been acne, skin reactions, thyroid problems and its effects on the renal system. We report a case in which a 18 year girl that developed bruxism due to lithium with raised serum lithium levels which stopped on stoppage of the drug.

A paranoid pseudocommunity is defined as an imaginary group of real persons or imagined persons believed in delusions to be conspiring against a paranoid individual. Herein, we report the case of a 61-year-old male with untreated schizophrenia for 36 years with auditory hallucinations constituting voices of twenty different people that were a part of a reciprocal paranoid pseudocommunity, and we explore the symptom phenomenologically and clinically.

Management of pain is essential to improve the quality of life of patients. When the standard methods for pain management fail, novel techniques can be implemented. Ketamine is a dissociative anesthetic agent which acts by reducing the central sensitization to pain. We report the case of a patient suffering from intractable pain as a result of Stage IV-C supraglottic laryngeal malignancy that responded well to intravenous ketamine.

In recent research reports there have bee n many case series and anecdotal case reports of dementia with an onset below the age of 45 years. In this case report, we present the case of a 23 years old female that presented with psychotic features initially and on clinical examination and imaging was diagnosed as young onset frontotemporal dementia.

It is generally benign and is managed supportively and non-pharmacologically with interventions to restore vision. In its atypical form, it also has hallucinations in other modalities. We report here a case of atypical CBS in a 56-year-old man with bilateral vision loss due to an old injury in one eye and the mature cataract in another eye. The patient responded well to olanzapine.

It is generally safe and well tolerated though rare neurological and psychiatric adverse reactions have been reported with Ofloxacin. We report a case of a 6 years old child who developed hallucinations after being started on Ofloxacin and which resolved on discontinuation of the drug.

Artificial intelligence techniques provide one alternative for stability enhancement and speed deviation (Δw). In this paper we have applied Fuzzy based and Support Vector Machine (SVM) based approach to PSS for Single Machine Infinite Bus (SMIB) System .The proposed method using SVM techniques achieves better improvement than Fuzzy Based power system stabilizer with reference to Conventional PSS with same condition applied. In the present paper, Fuzzy based PSS Simulink model using triangular membership function (FPSS) and novel approach for on-line adaptive tuning of Support Vector Machine based Power System Stabilizer (SVMPSS) using sigmoid kernel function is presented. The simulation results of the proposed SVMPSS and FPSS are compared to those of conventional stabilizers in for a SMIB system. The results show the Robustness of the proposed SVMPSS and its ability to enhance system damping over a wide range of operating conditions and system parameter variations.
