This studi used mix-method design to identify positive deviance behavior in preventing DHF and intervene by applying the positive deviance to the community in Pangkep Regency. The number of samples for quantitative data was 126 respondents and qualitative data was 12 informants. Data collection was conducted through Focus Group Discussion (FGD) and interviews. The research data were analyzed using logistic regression test and McNemar tests. The results showed the most influential factor in DHF incidence was positive deviance. Positive deviance behavior to prevent DHF were used long-sleeved clothing, use oil, and planting medicinal plants in the yard. The results of the intervention showed there was a significant influence of intervention using a positive deviance approach to increasing the planting of medicinal plants in the yard to prevent DHF, and there was a decrease in the incidence rate of DHF in Pangkep Regency. Positive deviance approach could be used as an effort to prevent and control DHF.

The Incidence Rate (IR) of DHF in Kendari had decreased since 2016, 372.8 per 100,000 to 25.1 per 100,000 in 2017. Thus, this study aimed to examine the correlation of climate factors, including average temperatures, relative humidity, wind speed, and mobility on the incidence of Dengue Hemorrhagic Fever (DHF) in Kendari. Method: This study used an ecological study or correlational study design conducted in Kendari, Southeast Sulawesi Province. The population was the aggregate data of monthly DHF incidence recorded in the Health Department of Kendari in 2014-2018. The data were analyzed using Pearson and Rank Spearman correlation tests. Results: The present study showed a positive correlation between average (p = 0.048, r = 0.257), relative humidity (p = 0.001, r = 0.413), mobility (p = 0.045, r = 0.586) with the incidence of DHF in Kendari in 2014-2018 meanwhile, the wind speed (p = 0.589, r = −0.071) did not show a significant correlation with the incidence of DHF. ଝ Peer-review under responsibility of the scientific committee of the 4th International Conference Hospital Administration (ICHA4).

Meanwhile, the predictive model is expected to be an early warning to anticipate the incidence of DHF. AIM: Therefore, this study aims to determine the dynamic model for predicting dengue fever incidence in Maros Regency from 2020 to 2040. METHODS: This study used the research and development (R and D) method with a dynamic systems approach. The study was conducted in Maros Regency and the data on dengue cases in Maros Regency from 2014 to 2018 were used as samples. Meanwhile, interpretive structural modeling (ISM) was used to determine policy scenarios in reducing dengue cases while the analysis of the dynamic model of dengue fever was conducted using the Powersim program. RESULTS: The critical elements of DHF prevention in the Maros Regency include the Jumantik program, 3M Plus, early warning sy...
