Dalam pemilihan sumber belajar, guru hanya menggunakan buku teks yang dibuat sendiri dan buku paket yang sudah jadi. Untuk mengatasi masalah tersebut perlu sumber belajar yang bisa digunakan oleh siswa dan guru yaitu modul. Modul merupakan salah satu bentuk unit lengkap yang berdiri sendiri dari rangkaian kegiatan belajar yang disusun untuk membantu peserta didik mencapai sejumlah tujuan yang dirumuskan secara khusus dan jelas. Dalam modul, siswa akan mendapatkan materi, ringkasan, dan tugas yang berkaitan dengan materi. The lack of students’ awareness and comprehension in solving math problems was the research backg... more The lack of students’ awareness and comprehension in solving math problems was the research background. The teacher only emphasizes the results and does not evaluate the process of students’ cognitive aspects and their awareness in answering the questions. The purpose of this research is to figure out how the metacognition abilities of male and female students solve math problems. The research design was descriptive research. The techniques of data collection were a test for measuring students’ metacognition ability in solving math problems, students’ worksheet, and interview. Then, it was analyzed through scoring procedures, tabulating data and determining the category of metacognition abilities. Meanwhile, the data from interview were analyzed by conducting several procedures such as reducing data, providing data, and drawing conclusions. The research results showed there were no differences in the metacognition abilities between male and female students .

Mathematical literacy skill of indonesian students according to PISA study is still relatively lo... more Mathematical literacy skill of indonesian students according to PISA study is still relatively low. Based on result of PISA in 2018, Indonesian students ranked 73 out of 79 countries. This research aims to find out more about mathematical literacy skill of students grade VII in MTsS Rambatan, who are grouped in the low group, middle group and high group using cooperative learning CPS. This study uses a mixed method with concurrent triangulation. The population consist of 3 schools with 87 students. The sampling technique is simple random sampling. The research instruments are test and interview. It was concluded that mathematical literacy skill using CPS model was better than mathematical literacy skill using conventional learning with tvalue > ttable that was 2,83 > 1,70. Mathematical literacy skill using CPS after the test and interview found that low group students were only able to achieve 2 levels of mathematical literacy skill. The middle group students were able to reach 4 levels of mathematical literacy skill. Meanwile students in high group were able to reach 6 levels mathematical literacy skill.

Penelitian bertujuan untuk membantu anak dalam meningkatkan kemampuan membilang melalui permainan puzzle, karena permainan puzzle adalah permainan yang menarik bagi anak dan dapat melatih kemampuan anak dalam membilang. This research was inspired from the result of a research under the title: "Analisis kemampuan pem... more This research was inspired from the result of a research under the title: "Analisis kemampuan pemecahan masalah matematis mahassiswa program studi tadris matematika." This research was done to know and describe how was the students' ability to solve mathematic probelm as math teacher candidate in Geometri Transformasi subject registered in 2012/2013 academic year of Mathematic department of Tarbiyah Faculty of STAIN Batusangkar. The design of this research was the combination of quantitative and qualitative by using descriptive approach. The instrument of this research was test and interview. The data was analyzed through data triangulation, data reduction, data presentation, and making conclusion. The result of the research showed that the students' ability from high group was very satisfactory. The students' ability from avarage group was satisfactory. And, the students' ability from low group was almost satisfactory.
