What do we estimate at a future specialist? Level and quality of knowledge, behavior, abilities, ... more What do we estimate at a future specialist? Level and quality of knowledge, behavior, abilities, intellectual potential? The system of education ought to ground on a logical, flexible and creative thinking in order to help the future specialist to become a professional in the selected profession. In this study we want to analyze the difficulties and find solutions in understanding and forming the specialization vocabulary of the first year students. We are conscious that insufficient faulty mastership of the special terms might create student ' s emotional and cognitive development because the reproduction style they appeal to in difficult moments is not favorable in their professional training.

Knowing the thinking of young generations upon the system of education is an important aspect because the visions, ideas, opportunities the positive and negative aspects seen by the students might become a source of inspiration for a didactic reform. The target group is represented by the graduated students from USAMV-Cluj-Napoca. The method of work was represented by the SWOT analysis being guided to achieve having as subject the Romanian system of education. Within their work for achieving the SWOT analysis the student praised both strong and weak points as well as the opportunities and threatening the systems is confronting with.

They aim to increase the quality of teaching, the value and efficiency of education process. Thisstudy reveal that educational tools frequently used in teaching chemistry lessons led to a better perceptionand understanding of new information and contributed to achieving the correlations with scientificcontent which students have previously learned. Instruments, apparatus and laboratory installationsutilised in teaching of chemistry lesson determined an active perception of chemical phenomena orchemical processes and a better understanding of them by all students interviewed. As a "first class" university, our university is considers not only the preparation of specialists, but also the development of an entrepreneurial university, connected to socioeconomic environment of the region and country. In supporting and promoting such university policies, among other centers, the Commission on Alumni Relations was established. The main purpose of the Commission is to cultivate among the graduates a sense of belonging to the academic community and their involvement in promoting USAMVCN prestige, to build partnerships between the university and the economic environment, to facilitate the access of graduates to economic structures and to achieve a reciprocal flow of information, science and technology, between the university and the economic environment. This paper wants to show to what extent this commission is known, how transparent its activity is and also some measures designed to improve its work.

With growing competition and increasing globalisation, international experience and intercultural... more With growing competition and increasing globalisation, international experience and intercultural competence become very important for a performing management. The capacity to act effectively in another culture can be developed with an intercultural training programme. To develop such a programme we chose the intercultural encounters from the university space. When an organisation, a firm, company or university design a training programme for developing the intercultural competence they have to consider use training needs assessment first. To have a needs assessment for our intercultural training programme we designed a questionnaire and we applied it to foreign students from the Faculty of Veterinary Medicine, USAMV Cluj-Napoca. Analysing the results, we can conclude that an intercultural training programme will be very useful for a better adaptation to a host culture, it will increase the performance in work, study, communication and well being.
