The etiological agent, ASF virus (ASFV), infects domestic and wild swine, producing a variety of clinical presentations depending on the virus strain and the genetic background of the pigs infected. No commercial vaccine is currently available, although recombinant live attenuated vaccine candidates have been shown to be efficacious. In addition to determining efficacy, it is paramount to evaluate the safety profile of a live attenuated vaccine. The presence of residual virulence and the possibility of reversion to virulence are two of the concerns that must be evaluated in the development of live attenuated vaccines. Nowadays, digital technology development and cash in payments are decreasing gradually and replac... more Nowadays, digital technology development and cash in payments are decreasing gradually and replacing electronic payments such as Automated Teller Machine (ATM). ATM is a new payment method; electronic payment has the power to develop relatively quickly in many different ways. The introduction of an electronic payment method reduces the pressure on the circulation of cash in the market, making payments and transactions more convenient, saving costs and time for people and the economy. The authors surveyed 450 customers related to electronic payment service from January 2020 to May 2020. The research results showed that seven factors affect customers' satisfaction based on ATM card payment services at Vietcombank in Dong Nai province. Research results are crucial scientific evidence for banking service managers to improve electronic payment services, especially ATM cards.

This paper uses the model of experimental mouse liver damage with paracetamol to evaluate the liv... more This paper uses the model of experimental mouse liver damage with paracetamol to evaluate the liver protective effects of the methanol extract (Colocasia esculenta (L.) Schott) (MCE). After 8 days, the hepatoprotective activities of MCE in mice (damaged by paracetamol) at doses of 500, 1,000 and 2,000 mg/kg/day proved effective as the AST enzyme content decreased by 6.98, 22.84 and 26.59%, respectively; and ALT decreased by 53.17, 56.46 and 57.93%, respectively. MCE at a dose of 1,000 mg/kg/day had a protective effect equivalent to that of silymarin (used in liver treatment) at a dose of 50 mg/kg/day and MCE at a dose of 2,000 mg/kg/day had better effect. Observation of the microscopic liver tissue cross section also revealed that the mice treated with MCE of C. esculenta at doses of 1,000 and 2,000 mg/kg/day showed significantly improvement in their liver tissues compared to the non-treated control group. The system includes the Arduino Nano main microcontroller (the device that transmits and pushes data to the Raspberry Pi 3 Web server), the DS18B20 temperature sensor module, the pH sensor module V1.1, and the DO Sensor SKU SEN0237. The system is capable of continuously measuring the above parameters of aquaculture ponds. The measurement results are stored and transmitted wirelessly to smart devices such as computers and mobile phones. Farmers can continuously monitor water quality parameters of aquaculture ponds (pH, DO, temperature) through these smart devices. In this study, we showed that crude extract of Anisomeles indica (AI-EtE) expressed its toxicity ... more In this study, we showed that crude extract of Anisomeles indica (AI-EtE) expressed its toxicity to HeLa cells with an IC50 dose of 38.8 µg/mL and to zebrafish embryos with malformations, lethality and hatching inhibition at 72-hpf at doses higher than 75 µg/mL. More interestingly, flow cytometry revealed that AI-EtE significantly promoted the number of cells entering apoptotic. Accordingly, the transcript levels of BAX, CASPASE-8, and CASPASE-3 in the cells treated with AI-EtE at IC50 dose were 1.55-, 1.62-, and 2.45-fold higher than those in the control cells, respectively. Moreover, treatment with AI-EtE caused cell cycle arrest at the G1 phase in a p53-independent manner. Particularly, percentages of AI-EtE-treated cells in G1, S, G2/M were, respectively 85%, 6.7% and 6.4%; while percentages of control cells in G1, S, G2/M were 64%, 15% and 19%, respectively. However, studies on the link between innovativeness and business performance of firms have not been studied much in Vietnam. Therefore, the research aims to identify and assess the impact of innovativeness on four perspectives in balanced scorecard including customers, finance, internal processes, employee learning and growth. Results from 144 responses out of 670 surveys on Japanese firms investing in Vietnam showed that innovativeness has a significant impact on business performance in both financial and non-financial aspects. Using nuclear magnetic resonance (NMR) spectroscopy, mass spectroscopy and thin layer chromatography, C2 and C6 were identified as quercetin and neohesperidin. The antioxidant activity of C2 and C6 (at concentration of 200 µM) is equivalent to vitamin C (at concentration of 0.57-1.14 µM/ml). Both compounds C2 and C6 have inhibitory activity on β-amyloid aggregation. At concentration of 1 mM of each compound, aggregation rate of β-amyloid (Amyloid form deposited in Alzheime's brain) are 51.14 and 80.57%, respectively, compar to control sample (89.64%).

Ilmenite placer forms continuously along the South Central Coast from local origin when the shoreline is far from the modern shoreline formed during the marine transgression process from the late Plestocene to Holocene. The morphological and localization characteristics of Ilmenite have been clarified on the distribution trend with SEM method combined with QEMSCAN. Meticulous research on Ilmenite's grain structure and chemical composition in the study area has shown a tendency to significantly enrich the quality of Ti placer according to the upward trend in the north-south direction. This paper explores the effects of labour movement into nonfarm activities on household productio... more This paper explores the effects of labour movement into nonfarm activities on household production choices in rural Vietnam. It finds that agricultural production declines and there are negative effects on farm revenue. However, these conclusions are limited in the north. Households in the north readjust their production structure by investing in livestock and other crops that require less labour. Rice farmers in the south have managed to keep their rice production unaffected by hiring more labour, and investing more capital to switch to less labour-intensive farming. The evidence of relaxing liquidity constraints is found, at least in the short run. While the decline in agricultural revenue in the north suggests some level of substitution between farming and nonfarm activities, the stability in rice production at the national level brings good news to policy makers and food security in Vietnam, despite rapid structural change over the past decades. Using financial statements of 87 industrial enterprises of the fiscal year 2017, the research shows that there are 6 factors affecting and having a positive relations with the level of information disclosure. These include: the scale of business, Duration of operation, Audit firm reputation, Solvency, Financial leverage and Return on Equity (ROE). The result points to signals that help the State Securities Commission to control better of information disclosure of firms. In addition, the study recommends measures for shareholders, especially those in large companies to strengthen the supervision, control managers in the disclosure of business information.

A mobile robot is placed at an unknown location inside a 2D self-similar polygonal environment P. The robot has a map of P and can compute visibility data through sensing. However, the self-similarities in the environment mean that the same visibility data may correspond to several different locations. The goal, therefore, is to determine the robot's true initial location while minimizing the distance traveled by the robot. We consider approximation algorithm for the robot localization problem. The algorithm is based on triangulation of a simple polygon representing a map. Based on the basis of the implemented program, we conducted experimental studies of this algorithm. The numerical results and their interpretation are better than others.

Sự ôxi hóa Met trên phân tử protein gây ra bởi gốc oxy hóa tự do có thể gây rối loạn quá trình trao đổi chất, dẫn truyền tín hiệu, làm suy yếu hoặc gây chết tế bào. Trong nghiên cứu này, chúng tôi đã tìm được 121 protein giàu Met (AtMRP) từ cơ sở dữ liệu genome của cây Arabidopsis thaliana, trong đó, khoảng 50% số gen là chưa được xác định chức năng. Dựa trên các nghiên cứu trước đây về biểu hiện của gen trong điều kiện bất lợi, chúng tôi đã xác định được 23 và 16 gen AtMRP có mức độ phiên mã tăng và giảm tương ứng trong điều kiện hạn, 11 và 17 gen có mức biểu hiện tăng và giảm khi xử lý mặn. Trong số các gen này, có 10 đáp ứng gen phiên mã với cả hạn và mặn. Gen AT4G33467 đáp ứng mạnh nhất và có độ biểu hiện trong điều kiện hạn cao gấp 337,5 lần so với ở điều kiện thường. Gen bị kìm hãm phiên mã mạnh nhất là AT3G55240, giảm tương ứng 60,3 và 26,9 lần khi xử lý hạn và mặn. Cây Arabidopsis RBC1 siêu biểu hiện gen AT3G55240 mẫn cảm hơn so với cây kiểu dại trong điều kiện mặn (NaCl 175 mM). Đây là những bằng chứng đầu tiên và quan trọng về vai trò của gen mã hóa MRP trong đáp ứng với điều kiện bất lợi ở thực vật, mở ra hướng nghiên cứu ứng dụng các gen này trong chọn tạo giống bằng công nghệ sinh học. The proposed method is done by modifying CPT scheme used for hiding data in binary image. We do not use two matrices as key for embedding and extracting process to reduce the processing time. To ensure the security, we use Arnold transform to scramble the secret message. Experimental results show that the proposed method is inaudible and suitable for hiding data in audio.

The engine analyzes the HTML files crawled from web forums, deduces the wrapper (template) of the pages and extracts the information about posts (e.g., author, title, content, number of replies and views, etc.). Extraction is an important module for forum search engine, since it helps to understand the content of a forum HTML page and facilitates ranking during retrieval. We discuss the system architecture of the extraction engine in the context of a forum search engine and present various components in the extraction engine. We also introduce briefly the extraction process and discuss some implementation issues.

This point lies along the minimum energy path connecting two minima, more specifically at the point with maximum energy on the path. Unlike minima or maxima, to identify first-order saddle points require both maximization and minimization tasks. Finding such points is extremely difficult. In this paper, we present a real-coded memetic algorithm for locating first-order saddle points. The proposed algorithm leverage the advantage of valley- adaptive clearing scheme in maintaining multiple solutions and Schlegel algorithm in achieving fast and precise convergence. Empirical results shown that the proposed algorithms achieve more than 90% with converge speed of more than 100 fold when comparing to its evolutionary compeers.
