The author has articulated the shared understanding of methodological practice found for learning and teaching of both content and language. This article is trying to develop the widely-accepted term Content-based Instruction (CBI), CLIL in teaching ESP and give a clear-cut implementation in teaching ESP for university students in Vietnam.

In his theory, the verb plays an important role in determining the organizations of all sentences. In his book, Meaning and the structure of language, Chafe defines 'four main heads' that any languages follow naturally such as semantic configurations, the post-semantic processes, symbolization and phonological structures. In this paper, the authors only focus on the analysis of the semantic configurations proposed by Chafe (1970) and test how the rules work with the poem "Echo" written by Christina Rossetti [7] in order to help the readers to better understanding the poem in the light of semantic structures. Rossetti (1830-1894) is a well-known English poet with many masterpieces of romantic, devotional, and children's poems. "Goblin Market and "Remember" are two of her famous publications. The purpose of choosing "Echo" because this is a success of Christina Rossetti's poetry. Normally an echo is believed not as a good concept for poetic purposes. However, with her deeply emotional and sentimental use of metaphor this poem is touching the hearts of all people by a variety of complex semantic configurations. The authors use the Chafe's theory to investigate the effects of semantic configurations and evaluate them through the analysis of Echo.

The surface morphology of the iron layers and their local magnetic properties were studied using scanning tunneling microscopy (STM) and conversion electron Mo Èssbauer spectroscopy (CEMS). STM studies revealed the granular structure of the surface of the electrodeposited iron layers with the roughness depending on the temperature of the bath, pH value and the current density. The in¯uence of these electrodeposition parameters on the thickness of the iron layers became manifest in their magnetic anisotropy, as seen by CEMS.

Yet their role in HIV prevention is often ignored in favor of focusing on prevention programs for sex workers contributing to the perception that women have the most responsibility - and often blame - for HIV transmission. In December 2004 Family Health International (FHI) Vietnam hosted a meeting with external partners to discuss the involvement of men in HIV/AIDS prevention. A key result of the meeting was an acknowledgement that a greater understanding of the sexual decision-making process of men who purchase commercial sex needs to occur in order to develop more effective interventions. From April to June 2005 a research team comprising FHI staff and consultants as well as representatives of non-governmental organizations (NGOs) and national social research agencies conducted a qualitative study of male clients of sex workers and other key informants. Candidates included men at high risk of purchasing sex married women and entertainment establishment (EE) owners. Researchers facilitated eighteen meetings six each in Hanoi (HN) Haiphong (HP) and Ho Chi Minh City (HCMC). In all 324 candidates participated including 222 men 61 married women and 41 EE owners. A rapid participatory method called Community Dialogue Meetings (CDM) collected detailed information in a short amount of time. The method used larger than normal group interviews based on focus group discussions (FGDs). Each meeting lasted three to four hours much longer than normal FGDs. Larger groups and longer meeting times allowed for a more detailed level of inquiry participatory activities and the ability to include discussion topics thought to be relevant by participants.
