Column chromatography was performed on silica 60 (230-400 mesh, 0.040-0.063 mm) from Merck. Thin layer chromatography (TLC) was performed on Merck silica gel 60 F 254 plates (250 µm layer thickness; aluminium sheets; particle size: 0.040-0.063 mm). Compounds were visualized by UV (λ = 254 nm), or by dipping the plates into a CerMOP-TLC reagent followed by heating. CerMOP-TLC reagent was prepared by dissolving 12.5 g molybdatophosphoric acid, 5.0 g Ce(SO 4) 2 •H 2 O and 30 mL of concentrated sulfuric acid in 470 mL of water. 1 H and 13 C NMR spectra were recorded on a Varian Mercury 300 spectrometer at 300 and 75.5 MHz, respectively. The chemical shifts (δ) are given in ppm downfield from TMS (δ = 0 ppm, 1 H) and CDCl 3 (δ = 77.0 ppm, 13 C), respectively. Coupling constants J values are given in Hz. For multiplets the following abbreviations were used: s (singlet), d (doublet), t (triplet), q (quadruplet), m (multiplet or unresolved signal), br (broad). The high resolution ESI mass spectra were obtained from a Bruker Apex III Fourier transform ion cyclotron resonance (FT-ICR) mass spectrometer (Bruker Daltonics, Billerica, USA) equipped with an Infinity TM cell, a 7.0 Tesla superconducting magnet (Bruker, Karlsruhe, Germany), an RF-only hexapole ion guide and an APOLLO electrospray ion source (Agilent, off axis spray). Nitrogen was used as drying gas at 150°C. The sample solutions were introduced continuously via a syringe pump with a flow rate of 120 µL h-1. Experimental Section: Diselenide 1a, 1b and the isonitrile 5a were synthesized as reported in the literature. 1

They also examined the moderating influence of psychological capital in the politics–outcomes relationships. Results provided good support for the proposed hypotheses. While perceived organizational politics was associated with all outcomes, psychological capital had a significant relationship with job satisfaction and supervisor-rated performance only. As hypothesized, the negative relationship of perceived organizational politics with job satisfaction and supervisor-rated performance was weaker when psychological capital was high. However, the result for turnover intentions was counter to expectations where the politics–turnover intention relationship was stronger when psychological capital was high.

A minor amount of structural isomers 2b-3b and 5b-6b has also been observed. The newly formed compounds show activity against the human neuroblastoma cell line SK-N-LO.
