It explains possible relationships among transformational leadership (TL), EFQM enablers (EE), and EFQM results (ER). Therefore, the research methodology is analytical, the population is the staff of four-and five-star hotels in Hurghada, Egypt, and the sample is a random cluster. As a result, the researchers obtained data from 412 participants. This research revealed that the implementation level of transformational leadership, EFQM enablers, and EFQM results is high. In addition, transformational leadership (TL) is positively correlated with EFQM enablers (EE) and EFQM results (ER). Moreover, EFQM enablers (EE) are positively correlated with EFQM results (ER). The levels of transformational leadership, EFQM enablers, and EFQM results do not significantly differ between four-and five-star hotels. Finally, to support EFQM enablers and improve EFQM results, transformational leadership is considered an essential and continuous technique that must be implemented efficiently. Consequently, hotel managers should use transformational leadership as an effective managerial technique to enhance the level of quality and performance management in the hotel industry.

Therefore, the research methodology is analytical, the population of this research is the staff of five-star hotels in the greater Cairo area, and the sample is random stratified. As a result, the researcher obtained information from 564 participants from the food and beverage department. The data was analyzed by the researcher using structural equation modeling (SEM) with the SmartPLS 4.1.0.0 software. This research revealed a high positive correlation between food waste management (FWM) and food operations efficiency (FOE); a moderate positive correlation between food operations sustainability (FOS) and food waste management (FWM); and a moderate positive correlation between FOS and FOE. Furthermore, the research showed that the relationship between food operations sustainability and food operations efficiency is not moderated by food waste management. Lastly, hospitality managers should implement best practices of sustainable food operations to improve food waste management and food operations efficiency.

Consequently, the methodology is analytical, and the research population included the managers and the employees of Cairo's fivestar hotel chains in Egypt. Therefore, this research was based on the method of random stratified sample. The researchers distributed 385 questionnaires on the staff of hotel chains in the departments of general management, food & beverage, room division, and human resources and they got about 302 valid questionnaires. Based on the research results, managers and employees apply strategic intelligence in their tasks at a high level. In addition, there is a high positive correlation between the level of strategic intelligence and its dimensions as follows: partnership, system thinking, motivation, innovation, future vision, and foresight at the 0.01 significant levels. Finally, about 70.5 % of variance in the level of strategic intelligence is caused by the system thinking dimension, 69.6 % by the partnership dimension, 65.3 % by the motivation dimension, 62.7 % by the innovation dimension, 60.5 % by the future vision dimension, and 59.2 % by the foresight dimension.

Consequently, the aim of this research is to investigate the existing and potential hotel capacity in all Egyptian destinations for managing hotel capacity effectively. So, the descriptive approach was adopted in this research. Primary data collection involved the official data of the ministry of tourism in Egypt (The 34th edition of Egyptian hotel guide 2015-2016). The analysis included all fixed hotels (898) in all Egyptian destinations (41 cities). The results reveal that the growth rate of hotels, rooms, and beds is negative, as it is decreased by 24.79, 5.48, and 7.65 % respectively. The lack of one fixed hotel leads to a shortage of 19 rooms and 50 beds. Also, the research stated that the distribution of hotels and rooms (Sig. 0.00) is not normal across the categories of tourist destinations using the test of Kolmogorov-Smirnov Z. The distribution of hotels (Sig. 0.003) and rooms (Sig. 0.007) is not the same across the categories of hotel stars using the test of Kruskal-Wallis. In addition, there is a statistically significant relationship between hotels and rooms in tourist destinations (r = 0.963, Sig. 0.00) at the 0.01 level (2-tailed). There is a significance regression model between hotels (X) and rooms (Y)

Accordingly, the data of this research relied on TripAdvisor's customer ratings of the Hurghada hotels in Egypt. The results revealed that the customer's overall rating of hotels is at a very good level with an average of 4.18 (Std. 0.51). The factors of hotel location (4.18 out of 5), service quality (4.18), value for money (4.18), hotel cleanliness (4.12), and room quality (4) are at a very good level. In addition, the customer's overall rating of hotels is significantly correlated to the hotel's distance from the city center (r = 0.373), and the number of reviews (r = 0.363) at a significant level of 0.05. Also, the customer's overall rating of hotels significantly varied according to the level of the hotel's distance from the city center (Mann-Whitney U 1308, Sig. 0.001), and the star rating of hotels (Kruskal-Wallis test 19.496, Sig 0.000). Moreover, the customer's overall rating of hotels does not differ significantly according to the hotel chains (Kruskal-Wallis test 22.11, Sig. 0.076). The regression model between the customer's overall rating of hotels (X) and the customer's rating of hotel location (Y) is as follows: Y = 2.667 + 0.362X. Finally, the implications of this research help marketing managers in the task of customer relationship management.

The liberalization of the exchange rate is considered one of the most important economic variables that occurred in Egypt in the year of 2016. Therefore, this research aims to study the impact of exchange rate liberalization on the performance of hotel industry in Egypt. The policy of liberalizing the exchange rate has led to an increase in the value of the US dollar against the Egyptian pound. In addition, total tourist revenues have increased and total number of tourists, hotel occupancy rate and total hotel nights has decreased. Moreover, t-test showed that there are no statistically significant differences in the indicators of the total number of tourists, total tourist revenues, total hotel nights and hotel occupancy rate, whether before or after the exchange rate liberalization policy. Using the binary logistic regression test, the indicators of the average exchange rate, total number of tourists, total hotel nights, and hotel occupancy rate are not considered a predictor of an increase in the rate of tourism revenues in Egypt. Accordingly, this research provides an integrated statistical analysis of the impact of the exchange rate liberalization on hotel industry, and thus, this research helps decision makers in official tourism establishments and hotel managers in making decisions, setting policies or scenarios, and building strategic plans that support the economic value of the hotel industry in Egypt .

Descriptive approach was used. Data was represented by customers' opinions through a questionnaire. There is a difficulty in identifying the members of the population. Therefore, it is suitable to choose a non-probability sample such as a convenience sample. The stratified sample has included 492 tourists who visited the hotels of Cairo, Luxor and Aswan in Egypt. The findings revealed that the overall evaluation of customer's trust in foods served at the hotels of Cairo, Luxor and Aswan came at a high level (4.04) and SD= 0.14. Therefore, the coefficient of variance is 0.03 %. In addition, the customer's trust is significantly different according to city, nationality, gender, age, marital status, and educational level at a significant level (0.05), while there is no statistically significant difference according to the family size factor. Moreover, the customer's trust is significant correlated with the perceived quality (r = 0.794), behavioral attitudes (r = 0.104), subjective norms (r = 0.426) and perceived behavioral control (r = 0.192). There is no significant correlation with behavioral intention. Finally, there is a positive correlation between customers' purchase intention and subjective norms (r = 0.126). Finally, the paper concludes with a set of recommendations including Egyptian hotels dependence on food products from accredited international organizations, increasing organic foods, and merging them in the hotel's marketing plan.
