Morocco, which has considerable brackish water resources and an important solar resource deposit, is required to use desalination techniques; however, the reliability of such techniques can no longer be applied just in terms of their value as renewable sources of energy. The solution presented in this publication, establishes a rather reliable way to produce drinking water. The technique of desalination by reverse osmosis is considered in this study to be a promising technique. The objective of our study is the implementation of a prototype for desalination of reverse osmosis, which is a low-cost small unit used to treat brackish water based on solar energy.

The present study was elaborated following the analysis of the practices of ten future physics teachers during their practical training in schools. Most pupils had difficulties in apply algebraic formulas used in courses of the electrical resistance, power and energy and with graphic representation for defining the characteristics of an electric dipole. The three components of the didactic triangle were considered. Indeed, classification of semiotic registers in the most used textbooks was completed; pupil's difficulties were identified and discussed with physics and mathematics teachers then a focus groups and individual interviews semi-structured with the teachers of the two disciplines were held. The study reveals serious deficiencies in knowledge interdisciplinary hindering the construct...

For the simulated radical EPR spectrum data, the imaginary component of the data is zero, and the real value represents the strength of the radical EPR signal. The algorithm is simplified if N is chosen to be a power of 2, where N is the number of data points. Among advantages of this method is that complicated spectra can be simulated very quickly and with very little computer memory by performing convolutions in frequency space. We applied the FFT to simulate the EPR spectra of the [O=N·(SO 3 ) 2 ] 2 - radical anion and the CNC·HCOOH radical. Only the real parts of the Fourier transforms of the lineshape functions are taken into account and both Gaussian and Lorentzian lineshapes are supported.

The 16-fold degenerate term 4 I 15/2 of the trivalent erbium ion splits into three Stark quartets Γ 8 and two different doublets Γ 6 and Γ 7 (irreducible representations). The CF energy matrix of the Er 3+ ion has been constructed and calculated from the complete diagonalization method, and the corresponding wave functions were used to calculate the ground state g-values. This method is outlined and illustrated by the examples of the Si:Er for comparison. The calculated g-factors are g = 6.8 and g = 6.0 for Γ 6 and Γ 7 , respectively.

In our Serious Games evaluation tool, we have four dimensions in each one we have a several well-defined evaluation criteria's. So we intend to use a fuzzy multi-criteria decision-making method (FMCDM) which has been integrated in order to validate the selection of the different alternatives and the weighting of the multiple criteria involved in our tool. However, even if all methods have the capacity to take into account the imprecision and uncertainty of human judgments, each method has its advantages and disadvantages depending on the context in which it is used. This makes it very difficult to choose one method over another. Moreover, there is no consensus in the scientific community on any particular method. In this paper, we present the use of the fuzzy TOPSIS and fuzzy ELECTRE methods for ranking the evaluation dimensions / alternatives used...

Much progress has been made in the design techniques and methods of Serious Games, but little in their evaluation. In order to fill this gap, we had proposed in our previous work an evaluation tool capable of helping practitioners to evaluate Serious Games in different training contexts. This evaluation tool for Serious Games is designed around four dimensions, namely the pedagogical, technological, ludic and behavioral dimensions, which are measured by clearly defined criteria. During this process, it was highlighted that the human factor (evaluator) influences considerably the result of the weightings through the choice to weight the evaluation dimensions of the Serious Games. In order to reduce this influence during the evaluation process and to keep the correlation between the variables of our evaluation system, we present in this paper, an improvement of our evaluation tool by equipping it with an intelligent supervised self-learning algorithm allowing self-regulation of the weights according to the context of use of the Serious Game to be evaluated. Thanks to the experimental verification of the optimization results, the root mean square error and the coefficient of determination are 0.016 and 98.59 percent respectively, indicating that the model has high precision which guaranteed better predictive performance. A comparison was made between this intelligent model and the models presented in our previous work; the results obtained indicated the same order of the four dimensions, and this by reducing the influence of the human factor during the Multi-Output Support Vector Regression weighting process.

We also present the approaches and steps that allowed us to validate our statistical study. We used a methodology to validate the instrument developed; using standard parameters, the mean and the standard deviation to describe quantitative data and percentages for qualitative data. The internal consistency of the scales was assessed using the correlation coefficient calculated after a one-factor analysis of variance as well as Cronbach's alpha coefficient (α). The scores show that the items and subscales have good internal consistency. In addition, it shows that the students are fully aware of their learning environment and the difficulties they encounter. They are motivated to embrace ...

The low concentration system consists of a PV module and two mirrors, one on the left and symmetrically on the right along the PV module. Our goal is to maximize the direct radiation received from the PV, and the end of the article study is under the same meteorological conditions and the influence of a solar tracker on a photovoltaic panel.

The sol-gel technique is known to offer better purity and homogeneity, and can yield stoichiometric powders with improved properties at relatively lower processing temperature in comparison to conventional solid-state reaction. X-ray diffraction (XRD) scanning electronic microscope (SEM) and Raman spectroscopy studies have been carried out to identify the crystallographic structure and phase formation. The refinement of the structural parameters was carried out by the Rietveld method. PCT exhibit tetragonal symmetry with the perovskite structure. The dielectric properties as a function of frequency, and phase transition studies on sintered ceramics Pb x/2+1 Ce x Ti 1-x O 3 (x=0.03) has been investigated in detail over a wide temperature range 30-500°C and the results are discussed....

On the one hand, the purpose of using these devices consist in helping improve their performance and in enhancing their attractiveness. On the other hand, it aimed at meeting the increasingly diverse student’s needs, thanks to an infrastructures reorganization and a renovated pedagogy. Casablanca University Hassan II supports teachers in their efforts to improve the learning of their students via the establishment of e-learning training workshops. In this context, the present work focuses on the formulation of an accompanying model for the adoption of a techno-pedagogical innovation by teachers. Subsequently, we examine the contributions of this model via the evaluation of the digital strategy for the teaching in the Hassan II University of Casablanca.

This study will also check the correlation between GRBAS scales results and VHI scores. Method: 371 students (204 girls and 167 boys), underwent 3 kinds of communication disorders assessment: vocal assessment that included the Arabic version of VHI-30, acoustic measures and perceptual analysis of dysphonia which was performed by 2 speech language therapists using the GRBAS scale. The control group consisted of a group of students selected based on VHI-30 scores cut off. The correlations were assessed using the Pearson correlation coefficient. The diff...

The main aim behind these games is not to substitute the traditional training mode, but to complement it by making the learner benefit from the interactivity and ergonomics of the graphical interfaces offered by a SG. So far, much research work has focused on the benefits that SGs can bring to a training envi-ronment. However, little has been done in terms of evaluating an SG, not as a training tool but as the outcome of a development project of a tool meant for use in a learning context. The purpose of this paper is to propose an evaluation tool of a SG designed in terms of four necessary dimensions that a SG should have in order to fulfill the task for which it was designed. These four dimensions are represented in terms of meas...
