Hacking in Representing and Intervening, Introductory topics in Philosophy of Science, (1983) suggests that intervention is an alternative for the word ‘experimentation’, and according to him it enjoyes a higher ranking before theory and observation as methods of scientific discovery.

The aim is to create a room for discussion between Western epistemological approaches and African epistemological approaches to science. The paper encompasses themes such as the role of intervention in science, experimentation, observation, theory, induction as methods of scientific knowledge and epistemological anarchism, herbalism and African traditional spirituality. In this dissertation, I attempt to identify the role of intervention in scientific knowledge. And I sustain the view that we should not put much reliance on the success of the methods of science in other parts of the world. If we as African scientists or philosophers of science want to be effective and contextual to our own search for knowledge we should do our research based on the situation on the ground and be free from standardized methods. I support my stand by maintaining that science like religion has been dogmatized. Like in religion, science assumed radical worldviews, that made it to be too arrogant at the point that it surpressed other methods of invesigating nature.

Very few people seem to act for the honor, but they think of the welfare for Greece. Why should anyone die in any circumstance to protect Helen? Why should anyone die to protect Menelaus? Why should anyone lift the finger to protect Helen? Why should anyone die to protect a lose woman and a barbarian husband? Perhaps the reason is that maybe they want to take Troy and then become rich.

Does this leave him with freedom to act? Could Oedipus refuse to accept his role as the cleansing sacrifice? Does the play indicate what consequences such refusal would have?
By the end of this paper, we shall be able to understand Oedipus’ dilemma. In the paper is discussed the issues of the gods’ demand of Oedipus’ sacrifice. Whether, this left him with some sorts of freedom to act or he could avoid it and look forward any other mean to bring back the sanctity of the city as the cleansing sacrifice. The most important questions that are debated in this paper are as follows; to find out whether is the King sovereign, or if the sovereignty of the kink comes from the people. One can suggest that Oedipus is going to be exiled because of his initiative to seek for the truth even if the consequences could cost a great price for him as we see in the play his tragic end. Despite of all these happenings, perhaps we can say that Oedipus has an autonomy by voluntarily asking for his own exile.

It could be I am intimidated or I love somebody there or because some scientist has put drugs on me (stimulate my brain). If that is the case, then that believe should be rejected. I could believe that Trump is the best candidate because my father voted in Trump. Therefore, this reason must be rejected.

As long as we admit that Africans are human beings, we have also to admit that they reflect on the basic problems of life, and there would be some who would devote much of their life and time on such an activity. These latter are philosophers whether or not their philosophy is preserved in writings. How can we know their thought then?

I realized that he was a charismatic person. He was capable to cover all the requirements of a public speech. Martin Luther was a good orator, was able to hold people’s attention for him. He knew how to meet the anxieties of the people of United States of America in his time. Freedom and Unity were his focus in the main audiences he delivered.

The Church in Africa needs to make its voice heard in the Church and throughout the world. Freire uses these terms in his book entitled Education for Critical Consciousness in order to demonstrate how oppressive the system was in his own time, in his own context and how it be could seen in contemporary institutions.

This data is based on the ‘economic overview’ of the privatization program in Mozambique, presented by UTRE (the privatization unit of the Mozambican Ministry of Planning and Finance). This growth will play an important role in Africa especially in Southern Africa.
