Business processes' Non-Functional Requirements (NFR) can foster the strategic alignment in organ... more Business processes' Non-Functional Requirements (NFR) can foster the strategic alignment in organizations. Our goal was to evaluate to what extent there are approaches that seek to support the modeling of business processes' NFR based on strategic goal-related information. To achieve this goal, we conducted a literature study based on systematic review concepts. As a result, we identified 19 works addressing strategic goals and business processes with NFRs. The most commonly used techniques are: i* and Key Performance Indicators (KPI) for modeling strategic goals and Business Process Model and Notation (BPMN) for modeling business processes. According to our analysis, no approach fully addresses business processes' NFR based on strategic goals which was our primary question in conducting this study.

O objetivo foi propor um modelo de avaliação para projetos de consultoria baseado em modelo de excelência em gestão para aplicação em micro e pequenas empresas do segmento de alimentação fora do lar na cidade de São Paulo. Para tanto, foi realizado um diagnóstico inicial e posteriormente uma pesquisa-ação em uma amostra composta de dez empresários do segmento de alimentação fora do lar localizados na cidade de São Paulo. Os dados foram analisados a partir de uma Análise de Decisão Multicritério por meio do método TOPSIS para que fossem ranqueadas as empresas que obtiveram os melhores resultados. Central Bank Digital Currency (CBDC) can be defined as a virtual currency based on node network a... more Central Bank Digital Currency (CBDC) can be defined as a virtual currency based on node network and digital encryption algorithm issued by a country which has a legal credit protection. CBDCs are supported by Distributed Ledger Technologies (DLTs), and they may allow a universal means of payments for the digital era. There are many ways to proceed, they all require central banks to develop technological expertise. Considering these points, it is important to understand the new IT governance in the financial markets due to CBDC and digital economy. Information Technology is an essential driver that will allow the new financial industry design. This paper has the objective to answer two questions through an updated Systematic Literature Review (SLR). The first question is What IT resources and tools have been considered or applied to set the governance of CBDC adoption? The second; Identify IT governance models in the financial market due to CBDC adoption. Bank for International Settlements (BIS) publications, Scopus and Web of Science were considered as sources of studies. After the strings and including criteria were applied, fourteen papers were analyzed. This paper finds many IT resources used in the CBDC adoption and some preliminary IT design related to the IT governance of CBDC, in the results and discussion section the findings are more detailed. A produção de aplicações Web envolve aspectos que a tornam inerentemente diferente da produção de... more A produção de aplicações Web envolve aspectos que a tornam inerentemente diferente da produção de software convencional, o que torna insuficientes os processos de desenvolvimento conforme abordados pela Engenharia de Software. Para abordar estes aspectos surge uma nova área do saber, intitulada Engenharia da Web, que ainda não está consolidada. Este trabalho discute a abordagem da Engenharia da Web a partir de fundamentos de Engenharia Simultânea, relacionando o processo de desenvolvimento com as características das aplicações, com atividades multidisciplinares e com a participação dos usuários no processo. Dá-se continuidade a pesquisa anterior, baseada em estudo de caso, com uma abordagem por pesquisa-ação. Verifica-se que fundamentos de Engenharia Simultânea podem ser aplicados à produção de aplicações Web, suprindo lacunas ainda imaturas na Engenharia da Web.

Através de uma análise do processo de customização em comparação ao processo de manutenção de software, procurou-se aproveitar as experiências e estudos já documentados neste último para aperfeiçoar o primeiro. Neste estudo, tomando-se como base a Norma ABNT ISO/IEC 12207 que trata do processo de ciclo de vida de software, será proposto um processo formal de Customização de sistemas ERP.

Advances in Information Technology and Communications are leading to a paradigm shift in manufact... more Advances in Information Technology and Communications are leading to a paradigm shift in manufacturing automation systems. Based on the Internet of Things (IoT) and Smart Technologies, manufacturing industries are witnessing the fourth Industrial Revolution, coined as Industrie 4.0 (I4.0). Although many studies related to this subject were published, including several literature reviews, there is no consensual definition of I4.0. Consequently, there is not a clear understanding of the underlying enabling technologies required to implement it. That makes it more difficult for players to plan a migration strategy. This paper proposes a technological pathway infrastructure from Industry 3.0 (I3.0) to I4.0, based on the analysis of research and academic involvement in this transition process. A bibliometric study was directed to academic work, while field research addressed industry practitioners. The purpose of field research is to understand the impact of the knowledge about the transition from I3.0 up to I4.0. The contribution of this study includes a construct showing the fundamental technology infrastructure to pave the way from I3.0 up to I4.0. Furthermore, it reveals the transition of manufacturing paradigm from I3.0 complex, centralized, monolithic architecture and physical Supply Chain to a modular, distributed, collaborative, and product-service-oriented I4.0 architecture.

This paper shows the adoption of cloud computing (CC) as a tool to promote strategic alignment of... more This paper shows the adoption of cloud computing (CC) as a tool to promote strategic alignment of Information Technology (IT) to business. Using elements from literature on CC as the benefits brought by its adoption and on strategic alignment of information technology to business, the article reveals how the emerging technology of CC has the ability both to influence and enable new business strategies, such as opening new market opportunities for organizations. Through a multiple case study were identified as the adoption of CC was able both to support and shape business strategies, but also to promote integration between infrastructure and processes business and IT infrastructure and processes. Opportunities for strategic alignment could be observed with the CC adoption to meet a specific need of one company and also as a result of a more general strategy of the organization adopting it as a model for services delivery.

O advento do BPM (Business Process Management) ofereceu uma nova abordagem para a melhoria do ali... more O advento do BPM (Business Process Management) ofereceu uma nova abordagem para a melhoria do alinhamento estrategico entre negocio e TI nas organizacoes, atraves do desenvolvimento de sistemas corporativos orientados a processos, que permitiu nao somente derivar requisitos de software a partir dos modelos de processos de negocio como tambem obter sistemas de informacao flexiveis, capazes de se ajustar a mudancas na operacao a partir do redesenho dos processos. Este estudo descreve uma revisao sistematica da literatura sobre abordagens orientadas a processos para especificacao de requisitos de sistemas corporativos, com o objetivo de prover um panorama academico do estado da arte da pesquisa no tema.
