That familiar phrase, or something much like it, is often attributed to Dion Fortune, yet it is seldom if ever accompanied by any reference to the precise source. As the definition seems to be considered by many to be important to our corner of the Western Mystery Tradition this article takes a look at the origin and use of the definition.
