The present study highlighted several interesting facts related to cryptocurrencies co-movements both in time and frequency domain that have high policy and investment implications. Overall wavelet coherence diagrams clearly indicate about the very short and long contagion effect among the cryptocurrency pairs for the whole study period. The contagion effect is different at different time scales. Finally wavelet clustering diagram indicates that by investing only in XBP and BitCoin cryptocurrencies investors are not going to get any benefit from diversification. This predictable co-movements pattern among the cryptocurrencies could be the basic investment strategies to gain maximum profit by diversifying the risk in cryptocurrency investments.

The paper aims to explore and assess the potential of women empowerment to the benefits of economic growth in the BRICS countries. Methodologically, the paper relies on the theory of gender order and the interdisciplinary approach to the research of gender inequality. The study applies methods of systematisation, content analysis, and comparison of time series. By analysing a range of international organisations’ reports, the paper provides insight in the state of affairs with gender inequality in the BRICS countries looking at its key characteristics in the economic, educational, social, and political spheres. Using the World Bank data for 2000–2021, the paper examines women’s empowerment according to the dimensions accounted for in the UN Gender Inequality Index: empowerment, health, and labour market. The findings indicate that the BRICS countries are far behind in terms of delivering real justice to women’s empowerment. Among the five countries China and Russia seem to be putting the strongest efforts to reduce gender gap, Brazil demonstrates good dynamics, but has a long way to go, while South Africa and India confront many deep-rooted problems that strongly thwart their progress. The theoretical and practical significance of the study lies in the consolidation of the data on the problem of gender imparity as well as their interpretation in the context of supporting gender equal societies in the BRICS countries to promote the global spatial economic development.

Its primary objective is to develop a sustainable innovation paradigm that would allow for the introduction and development of environmentally friendly inventions to aid in the alleviation of environmental plight and conservation of natural resources. Green technological innovations, also referred to as environmental technological and clean technological innovations, are primarily intended to cater to novel technological products and processes in to avoid dependence on conventional non-renewable energy sources like fossil fuels as well as to move toward the restoration of the health of the earth. Additionally, green technology innovation strives to meet the societal needs and amenities in a way by reducing the exploitation of natural resources and, as a result, conserves the environment. Given that India has one of the fastest growing economies in the world and a population of about 1.4 billion, the country's constant need for resources like energy, water, food, etc. is having a negative impact on the environment and the country's ability to curb the depletion of natural resources. As a result, efforts to develop green technologies are a necessary response to this problem. As a result, the present chapter is cantered on the state of green technology innovation in India and its implications for accomplishing sustainable development goals while preserving the country's environmental health.

AI is broadly characterized by a suite of technologies and capabilities, which are largely autonomous and predictive. Expectations of AI are derived and often benchmarked against human intelligence. The corollary is understanding that AI may be approached by attempting to understand human intelligence itself. The pace of AI application in industry is clearly accelerating as companies begin to leverage AI to increase profitability and achieve scale. This review is centred around how AI is currently being applied in Financial Institutions providing services by covering key implementation aspects, underpinning new products and services, playing a strategic role in digital transformation. This also covers how financial service providers across the globe are meeting the challenges of AI adoption with its emerging risks and regulatory implications, as well as the impact of AI on the compet...
