The House order of the Penal and correctional institution of a half-open type Tuzla has consistently respected regulations of international documents in the field of execution of criminal punishments and the Law on Execution of Criminal Sanctions in Federation of Bosnia and Herzegovina.
This work presents the results of empirical research which has confirmed that respondents - convicts have clearly formed attitudes towards the house order and regime in The Penal and Correctional Institution of a Half-open Type Tuzla and that those attitudes significantly differ. Half of the responders have a negative attitude towards the house order and regime, about 10% of them expressed neutral attitudes towards it. On the basis of that, it can be concluded that the house order of this Institution in Tuzla hasn’t been practiced in the way the convicts expect it to be or it hasn’t been fully implemented, so it is necessary to take appropriate measures for establishing its consistent implementation.

It is argued that the problems involved in using elite interviews in security and intelligence studies are no different than in other areas of political science, but simply more pronounced. It is further argued that these problems can be most effectively addressed in terms of the sociological 'triangulation' strategy of multi-methodological research. The article concludes that this approach is, moreover, generally applicable to political studies at large. Information about the intelligence services is notoriously sparse (undoubtedly a major reason that security and intelligence studies remains a minority interest in political science), and the official documentary records available at sites such as the Public Record Office and India Office Library of Records have been 'sanitised', with so-called 'weeders' trying to remove any trace of British intelligence information

This paper summarizes the broad application and policy context for this emerging field. Three detailed case studies are presented to illustrate several key ISI research areas, including cross-jurisdiction information sharing; terrorism information collection, analysis, and visualization; and "smart-border" and bioterrorism applications. A specific emphasis of this paper is to note various homeland-security-related applications that have direct relevance to transportation researchers and to advocate security informatics studies that tightly integrate transportation research and information technologies.
