Using β-equilibrium condition in the PCQMF model, the analysis of pressure density, and equation of state (EoS) of SQM for different values of vector coupling constant is carried out. Three different conditions of Proto-Quark Star (PQS) along the star evolution (S/nB = 1, Yl = 0.4; S/nB = 2, Yvl = 0; S/nB = 0, Yvl = 0) are considered to perform the theoretical simulation. Providing a significant vector coupling constant, the change in pressure with baryon density is found to be more as compared to zero vector interaction. Further, pressure density shows monotonically and smoothly increasing behavior with an increase in the energy density. The study thus carried out, anticipated to give a better insight in understanding the properties of matter inside the core of supermassive stars in the universe.
In Wavelength-division multiplexing (WDM) we are combining multiple signals at various infrared (... more In Wavelength-division multiplexing (WDM) we are combining multiple signals at various infrared (IR) wavelengths on laser beams for transmitting the signal along fiber optic media. Generally there are two WDM techniques one is CWDM and another one is DWDM. Coarse wavelength division multiplexing (CWDM) is a method which will combine multiple signals on laser beams at various wavelengths for transmission along fiber optic cables, such that the number of channels is less as compared with dense wavelength division multiplexing (DWDM). In metro and cable TV network CWDM is getting more attention because with low cost it can transmit more bandwidth. In optical fiber communication system dispersion compensation is one of the most important feature because here the absence dispersion causes pulse spreading which results in overlapping of the signal in the receiver side. So, in order to compensate the dispersion here EDFA(Erbium doped fiber amplifier) is used. Erbium-doped fiber amplifiers (EDFA) are one of the most important fiber amplifiers in case of longrange optical fiber communication. They are capable of amplifying the light in the wavelength region of 1.5-μm, where telecom fibres experience minimum loss. Hence Erbium-Doped Fiber Amplifier (EDFA) is used for long distances. It is found that when we increased the value of extinction ratio, the threshold value will be decreases but eye height will increases. Here in this optical design, 4 channels CWDM is simulated with various length of fiber. These days the demand for large bandwidth is continuously increasing. In order to fulfil this need, telecommunication companies have to investigate on increasing their channels capacity with the lowest cost possible.

It may be caused by the deposition of amyloid beta-peptide (Aβ) in plaques in brain tissue. In AD, there is the formation of neurofibrillary tangles containing tau protein, which is proposed to result from an imbalance between the production and clearance of amyloid beta-peptide (Aβ). The degradation and production of Aβ is significantly regulated by low-density lipoprotein receptor-related protein, LRP1, which is a large endocytic receptor. The LRP1 is known to regulate this function by interacting with a novel and specific interactor, NYGGF4 (phosphotyrosine interaction domain containing 1). NYGGF4 is known to be differentially expressed during AD progression. Here, we are trying to computational predict the interaction of LRP1 and NYGGF4 through protein structure prediction and protein-protein interaction.

For this purpose, the BaTiO3 nanoparticles have been synthesized using the sol–gel method with low-temperature hydrolysis with varying calcination temperature and time. The structural, morphological, elemental, chemical, dielectric and gas sensing properties have been characterized using XRD, SEM, TEM, EDX, RAMAN Spectroscopy and LCR Meter with Gas Sensing Unit. The cubic phase of BaTiO3 nanoparticles has been confirmed by XRD and the estimated particle size obtained from 20.6 nm to 29.4 nm concerning the change in calcination temperature and time. The morphological study and crystal structure analysis have been performed using SEM and TEM images. Elemental identification has been done by EDX which indicates the presence of Ba, Ti and O in the synthesized compound. The formation of the cubic phase has also been confirmed by Raman analysis with a small shift in peaks toward the higher wave number side. Dielectric properties of synthesized BaTiO3 nanoparticles have been investigated as a function of frequency with temperature variation from 30 to 150 °C. The sensitivity (%) as a function of flow rate and temperature of BaTiO3 nanoparticles have been investigated and observed that BaTiO3 nanoparticles calcinated at 800 °C for 2 h achieved the highest response toward NH3 gas.

Within the PCQMF model, the properties of quark matter are calculated through the scalar fields σ, ζ, δ and χ, the vector fields ω, ρ and φ and the Polyakov loop fields Φ and Φ. The isospin splitting of constituent quark masses is observed at large isospin asymmetry. Proteotoxic stress conditions and mutations that cause abnormal aggregation of α-synuclein have close association with onset of PD and its progression. Therefore, studies pertaining to α-synuclein mutations play important roles in mechanistic understanding of aggregation behaviour of the protein and subsequent pathology. Herein, guided by this fact, we have studied the aggregation kinetics, morphology and neurotoxic effects of the two newly discovered sporadic PD associated mutants A18T and A29S of α-synuclein. Our studies demonstrate that both of the mutants are aggregation prone and undergo rapid aggregation compared to wild type α-synuclein. Further, it was found that A18T mutant followed faster aggregation kinetics compared to A29S substitution. Additionally, we have designed three ...

The composition of the volatile components extracted by the three methods differed considerably. In SFE, phenylethanol (14.7%), linalool (7.9%), ( E)-linalool oxide furanoid (3.5%), epoxy linalool (1.6%), geraniol (2.3%) and hotrienol (1.5%) were major components. m-Xylene (2.6%), ( E)-linalool oxide pyranoid (5.4%), p-myrcene (5.2%), α-cadinol (4.3%) and methyl palmitate (2.9%) were major compounds isolated by SDE. 3-hexenol (2.1%) ( E)-4,8-dimethyl-1,3,7-nonatriene (20.9%) and linalool (35.1%) are major components in headspace analysis. Acetophenone and pheromone germacrene D is detected in tea flowers by all the methods studied. Floral, fresh and fruity odour of tea flowers is retained by SFE as there is very little loss of heat sensiti...

The numerical and graphic data both provide useful clues for suspecting a diagnosis especially when the workload is very high. We present our experience of useful information provided by graphic displays of an automated cell counter in hematological malignancies in a cancer hospital where a large number of complete blood count (CBC) requests are received either before or during chemotherapy. This study was conducted to assess the usefulness of hematology cell counter, viz. WBC-Diff (WBC differential), WBC/BASO (WBC basophil) and IMI (immature myeloid information) channel scatter plots, and the flaggings generated in various hematological malignancies. The graphic displays have been compiled over a period of 1 year (October 2015-September 2016) from blood samples of various solid and hematological malignancies (approximately 400 per day) received for routine CBC in the laboratory. Approximately 50 000...
