National research teams identified policies and strategies related to promoting healthy diets and restricting unhealthy consumption, including national legislation, development plans and strategies and health sector-related policies and plans. We identified relevant text in relation to the issuing agency, overarching aims, goals, targets and timeframes, specific policy measures and actions, accountability systems, budgets, responsiveness to inequitable vulnerabilities across population groups (including gender) and human rights. We captured findings in a ‘policy cube’ incorporating three dimensions: policy comprehensiveness, political salience and effectiveness of means of implementation, and equity/rights. We compared diet-related NCD policies to human immunod...

This paper is targeted at study, design and fabrication of a microwave active filter for the receiver front-ends using coupled line filter structure, which can be applied to the nanosatellite's communication subsystem. The whole active filter module is a combination of a microstrip bandpass filter and a preceding twostage wideband low noise amplifier using FET devices. The proposed module operates in the frequency range of 2-2.4 GHz, which can be divided to 10 frequency slots of about 40 MHz for each. These frequency slots will be used for the S-band multi-frequency receiving function of the ground station, as well as the nanosatellite. The simulated and measured results of this active filter configuration are presented.

General requirements for an antenna used for WPT systems are high directivity and narrow beamwidth. This paper presents the design, simulation and fabrication of microstrip patch antenna arrays for close-range WPT systems. Various antenna prototypes such as single patch, 2×2, 2×4, 4×8 and 8×8 microstrip patch antenna arrays working at 2.45 GHz are proposed. The 2×4 microstrip patch antenna array is fabricated and measured using Anritsu 37364D Vector Network Analyzer and NSI2000 Nearfield System. Measurement results show that the fabricated antenna obtains a directivity of 14.7 dBi and a 3 dB beamwidth of 23.2 degree. The experiment with the WPT system is carried out. This paper also presents structure of a WPT system and the role each building block in the system.

It has had limited use because of its dose-related cardiotoxicity and myelosuppression. Liposomes have been used as a vehicle for administration of pharmaceutical drugs because of their ability to improve the delivery of drugs to tumors, increase therapeutic efficacy, and decrease toxicity to normal cells. The aim of this study is to prepare a new liposomal dxorubicin on a large-scale and evaluate its antitumor activity in vivo. Liposomes were formed using the hydration of a thin lipid film method, and doxorubicin was loaded through a pH gradient technique. Based on TEM images, large lamellar vesicles (LUV) were formed, with sizes of 95 ± 10 nm, having a polydispersity index of 0.138 ± 0.02 and zeta potentials of about-27.8 ± 2.15 mV. The entrapment efficiency was approximately 97%. The therapeutic activity of PEGylated liposomal doxorubicin formulations was studied on human colorectal carcinoma HT 29 tumor-bearing BALB/c-Foxn1 nu mice models. Our results have shown that liposome preparation can reduce the tumor volume and increase the survival rate and survival time as compared with Lipo Dox. PEGylated liposomal doxorubicin demonstrated much stronger antitumor activities, and statistical differences were significant when compared with free doxorubicin.

Biological activity and toxicity were tested on A549 and HT 29 cancer cell lines by the MTT method. As the result, the obtained PEGylated liposomal doxorubicin using the lipid film hydration method had an entrapment efficiency of the drug more than 95%. The formulated liposomes were found to be relatively uniform in size (167.8± 3.6 nm) with a negative zeta potential (−27.5 ± 3.5 mV). The stability experiments results indicated that PEGylated liposomal doxorubicinwas stable for at least 3 months at 2-8 o C. The cytotoxic effect of PEGylated liposomal doxorubicin on A549 and HT29 cell lines was effected when the exposure time is o...

Following a description of the conceptual and methodological framework developed for undertaking these inventories, the article documents the extent, nature and intensity of water-related conflict and cooperation in the five districts. The article concludes by identifying three challenges relating to the magnitude, complexity and invisibility of local-level conflict and cooperation about water, which efforts to improve local water governance would have to address.
