This paper briefly describes the flexible delivery Master of Midwifery course developed at USQ. T... more This paper briefly describes the flexible delivery Master of Midwifery course developed at USQ. This course contains 4 units taught almost totally via CDROM and Internet. The majority of the paper examines the ways in which the lecturers and students believed the CDROMs enhanced their educational work. A core advantage for the lecturers was the highly iterative development methodology which was used. While most students had no prior experience with computer CDROMs they felt that their learning was empowered and most preferred the unit to similar paper based units.
