Despite those challenges, many live births have been reported. In this systematic review, we focused on the key to successful assisted reproduction strategies and the potential pregnancy complications. We did a systematic literature search of Pubmed, Medline and Scopus for articles reporting successful pregnancies in CAH other than 21-hydroxylase deficiency, and found 25 studies reporting 39 pregnancies covering deficiency in steroidogenic acute regulatory protein, 17α-hydroxylase/17,20-lyase, 11β-hydroxylase, P450 oxidoreductase, cytochrome b5 and 3β-hydroxysteroid dehydrogenase. We summarized various clinical manifestations and tailored reproduction strategy for each subtype. Furthermore, a meta-analysis was performed to evaluate...

Whether increased anti-Müllerian hormone (AMH) levels in PCOS are involved in the pathogenesis of insulin resistance remains unclear. We investigated serum levels of leptin and AMH along with basic clinical and metabolic parameters in 114 PCOS patients and 181 non-PCOS women. PCOS patients presented higher fasting blood glucose, insulin concentrations and Homeostatic Model Assessment of Insulin Resistance (HOMA-IR) in addition to body mass index (BMI), lipids profiles and hormone levels. HOMA-IR showed a positive correlation with BMI, AMH, leptin, and low-density lipoprotein-cholesterol (LDL-c) levels. Interestingly, AMH is strongly positively correlated with HOMA-IR and insulin concentrations for 1st and 2nd hours of glucose treatment after fasting. Among PCOS women with BMI≥25 kg/m2, high AMH level group showed an increased HOMA-IR when compared to normal AM...

We investigate the absorption and transmission properties of a weak probe field under the influen... more We investigate the absorption and transmission properties of a weak probe field under the influence of a strong control field in a hybrid cavity magnomechanical system in the microwave regime. This hybrid system consists of two ferromagnetic material yttrium iron garnet (YIG) spheres strongly coupled to a single cavity mode. In addition to two magnon-induced transparency (MIT) that arise due to strong photon-magnon interactions, we observe a magnomechanically induced transparency (MMIT) due to the presence of nonlinear phonon-magnon interaction. In addition, we discuss the emergence and tunability of the multiple Fano resonances in our system. We find that due to strong photon-magnon coupling the group delay of the probe field can be enhanced significantly. The subluminal or superluminal propagation depends on the frequency of the magnons, which can be easily tuned by an external bias magnetic field. Besides, the group delay of the transmitted field can also be controlled with the control field power.

The aim of the present study was to investigate the effects of l-tryptophan in extender on semen quality parameters, in vitro longevity and in vivo fertility of buffalo spermatozoa during cryopreservation. Two ejaculates were collected from each bull (n = 2 ejaculates and n = 4 bulls) with artificial vagina at 42 °C followed by initial evaluation for volume, motility, concentrations and were diluted in five extenders (C = lacking l-tryptophan, D1 = 25 μ M l-tryptophan, D2 = 50 μ M l-tryptophan, D3 = 75 μ M l-tryptophan, D4 = 100 μ M l-tryptophan) respectively and cryopreserved. The experiment was repeated four times (n = 4 replicates). At post-dilution, sperm plasma membrane integrity (PMI, %), supravital plasma membrane integrity (SVPMI, %), hypo-resistivity (HR, %) and acrosome integrity (ACR-I, %) was significantly higher (P < 0.05) in extender supplemented with D4 than control. At post-thawing, sperm progressive motility (PM, %), PMI, SVPMI, HR, ACR-I, and DNA-I were higher in D4 than control. Sperm in vitro longevity (%) assessed in terms of PM, SVPMI, and ACR-1 were higher in D4 than control. Sperm mitochondrial membrane potential (%) was higher in treated groups than the control. The in vivo fertility rate was significantly higher in D4 than control (60.17% vs. 44.17%, P < 0.05). It is concluded that supplementation of l-tryptophan in tris citric acid extender improves semen quality parameters, in vitro longevity and in vivo fertility of buffalo spermatozoa during freezing and thawing process.

We discuss the quantum carpets and revivals time for each particle. Moreover, we explain that the relativistic phenomena not only decrease the density of the corresponding carpets but also affect the revivals time of each particle within a box. Further, we impose different limiting conditions on the obtained Dirac energy solution and explain the wellknown slight-relativistic and non-relativistic quantum carpets, respectively. In addition, we extend our study to explain the quantum carpets of the KG particle at different energy states and compare its revivals time with the Dirac particle.

The bistable behavior of the steady-state photon number and the mechanical steady-state positions are discussed. Further, we tune bistability by tuning all the coupling frequencies involved in the system and amplitude of the driving field. The present study provides the possibility of realization of a controllable optical switch depending on atom-field coupling, optomechanical coupling, electrostatic Coulomb coupling, and threshold power. In addition, we discuss that the non-linear effect of the hybrid NEOMS generates the four-wave mixing (FWM) process. Moreover, we show that the FWM process can be suppressed by the atom-field detuning and cavity-field detuning, which exhibits low photon transmission.

A number of traditional medicinal plants are used to counteract arsenic's deleterious effects on humans. Phytochemical screening of Caryopteris grata revealed the presence of Quercetin, myricetin, sesquiterpenoids, and spathulenol. The present study was designed to evaluate whether the crude extract of leaves of C. grata inhibited arsenic-induced testicular toxicity in albino BALB/c mice. To examine the effects, mice were divided into five groups (A-E) of 6 mice each: Group A was provided with distilled water and served as a control. Group B mice were given sodium arsenite (NaAsO 2) at a dose of 10 mg/kg body weight (bw) for 10 days orally. Groups C, D, and E were treated with NaAsO 2 plus graded doses of C. grata extract (150, 300, 400 mg/kg bw), respectively. Testicular activities of antioxidant enzymes such as CAT, POD, SOD, GSH, GSR, and serum testosterone levels were significantly (P<0.05) decreased in Group B compared to Group A. C. grata markedly normalized (P<0.05) levels of CAT (0.72 and 0.46 U/mint), POD (0.311 and 0.126 U/mint), SOD (2.11 and 1.33 U/mg protein), GSH (0.679 and 0.284 µmol/g), and GSR (216.11 and 172.25 nmol/min/mg protein), along with testosterone levels (1.18±0.017 and 0.38±0.021 ng/ml) at the tested doses, respectively. Conclusively, the crude extract of C. grata leaves may inhibit both arsenic's adverse effect on male reproductive hormones and testicular oxidative damage in mice.

Due to the intrinsic feature of optomechanical interaction, optomechanically induced transparency can only be observed under strong pump fields. However, the applications of optomechanically induced transparency in nanophotonics require low pump power and good controllability. Thus it is important to reduce the pump power and improve the controllability of optomechanically induced transparency with current experimental parameters. In this work, we propose a realizable method for the achievement of low-power optomechanically induced transparency by introducing a magnetic force coupling. We show that the magnetic coupling can obviously reduce the pump threshold value, and optomechanically induced transparency with ultralow pump threshold value and desirable controllability can be realized. In comparison to optomechanical system combining piezoelectric materials, the magnetic force-coupled optomechanical system may be a better candidate for optical information process.

The mechanism of androgen actions on endometrium is still uncertain. We hypothesized that androgen has a direct effect on the endometrium in women with recurrent miscarriage. In the present study, we assess the impact of androgen (A) at high concentration (10 M) on Ishikawa cells compared with the physiological concentration of androgen (10 M). To go into deeper analysis, we use global stable isotopes labeled profiling tactic using iTRAQ reagents, followed by 2D LC-MS/MS. We determine 175 non-redundant proteins, and 18 of these were quantified. The analysis of differentially expressed proteins (DEPs) identified 8 up-regulated proteins and 10 down-regulated in the high androgen group. These DEPs were examined by ingenuity pathway (IPA) analysis and established that these proteins might play vital roles in recurrent miscarriage and endometrium receptivity. Though, the mechanism concerned in this process is still uncertain. In the present study, we explored whether overfeeding of a high-fat diet during pregnancy in female rats altered metabolic phenotypes in an F1 generation and authenticated the contribution of hypothalamic leptin signaling. Leptin responsiveness and the number of immunopositive neurons for phosphorylated signal transducer and activator transcription 3 (pSTAT3) were analyzed. Neuropeptide Y in the arcuate nucleus of the hypothalamus and in nucleus tractus solitaries was examined. Triglycerides and leptin levels were increased in the high-fat diet mother. The number of neuropeptide Y positive cell bodies and neurons was significantly increased in the high-fat diet-F1 offspring (HDF-F1) as compared to Chow-F1. Leptin administration significantly decreased the food intake and increased the pSTAT3 expression levels in neurons in the arcuate nucleus of Chow-F1. However, leptin did not show any effect on food intake and had a reduced effect on pSTAT3 expression levels in neurons in the arcuate nucleus of HDF-F1. From the present domino effect, we conclude that mothers exposed to high-fat diet during pregnancy may pass the obese phenotype to the succeeding generation via altering hypothalamic leptin signaling. diseases, and numerous other problems [1, 2]. In the United States, one-third of women are obese and two-third are overweight [3]. In china, the proportion of overweight children and teenagers are 19.4% and 5.8 % are obese [4]. Research on different animal models revealed that HFD induced obesity and other metabolic disorders in their offspring [5, 6]. Ambiguities and inconsistencies in requirements may affect the whole process as well as the final product. Therefore, it must be assured that they confirm their quality attributes. However, it has not been an easy task to achieve quality requirements in requirement elicitation and gathering activities. Therefore, they are processed in order to make them more clear and specific in requirements analysis activity. Conflicts identification and resolution are the most important activities at this stage. The focus of this research is on conflict identification and resolution in requirements analysis phase. Several techniques and theories have been discussed regarding conflict identification and resolution in order make the process automated. Finally, in the light of critical analysis and problem formulation two approaches has been declared well suited for identification of conflicts and resolving them respectively. Rules based iterative method has been used to identify conflicts of different types. Regarding resolving the identified conflicts, win-win approach (based on theory W) has been selected and formulated. Genetic algorithmic is made compatible to solve the problem. Requirements have been transformed into chromosomes such that operators (crossover and mutation) are to be applied. Using crossover, new chromosome are created and appropriate features are incorporated by mutation operator until the conflict has been resolved. The technique has been developed as a tool and demonstrated upon a case-study. At the end, future directions have been set for further research that may have promising impact on its quality and reliability.

C. grata markedly normalized (P<0.05) levels of CAT (0.72 and 0.46 U/mint), POD (0.311 and 0.126 U/mint), SOD (2.11 and 1.33 U/mg protein), GSH (0.679 and 0.284 µmol/g), and GSR (216.11 and 172.25 nmol/min/mg protein), along with testosterone levels (1.18±0.017 and 0.38±0.021 ng/ml) at the tested doses, respectively.

In addition, proteins cyclin-d...

Moreover, maternal obesity is accountable www.impactjournals.com/oncotarget/
