In the steelmaking process, there is a slag foam phenomenon, but a slag depressant is needed to reduce the amount of slag foam. Slag depressants are made from organic materials, one of which is paper. Therefore, waste paper is utilized to make slag depressants. Slag foam in a basic oxygen furnace is a phenomenon of foam or gas bubbles formed during the steel production process. To reduce the formation of slag foam, a material called slag depressant is needed. A study was conducted with the addition of molasses as a binder and sawdust as a mixture of organic materials with a composition variation of 5%, 10%, and 15% molasses and 5%, 10%, and 15% sawdust. In addition, a comparative study was conducted between cylindrical and cubic shapes. The research was carried out by mixing raw materials in the form of organic materials, limestone, blast furnace slag, and molasses. Afterward, the slag depressant was formed and dried. The results indicate that the addition of organic matter from wood powder can affect the quality of slag depressants. The highest volatile matter value of 37.14% in the addition of 15% sawdust, and the smallest porosity value of 16.39% in the addition of 5% sawdust. The addition of molasses increased the strength of the slag depressant. The slag depressant had the highest value of 98.05% in the shatter test and the highest compressive strength value of 2247.91 N/cm2 in the addition of 15% molasses.

The independent variables in this study are Cultural Factors (X1) and Psychological Factors (X2). The dependent variable is consumer behaviour (Y). There were 50 respondents involved in this research and filled the questionnaire with a Likert scale with 4 alternative answers. Hypothesis testing is analysed with t-test (partial test), F-test (simultaneous test), and R-square test to determine the effect of independent variables with dependent variable using SPSS program. Debu tersebut masih mengandung nikel. Untuk dapat diolah kembali, debu dibuat menjadi pelet dan diumpankan kembali ke rotary kiln . Apabila pelet tidak kuat akan menyebabkan pelet tersebut cepat hancur dan kembali menjadi debu di rotary kiln. Penelitian ini dilakukan percobaan pengerasan pelet dengan variasi temperatur 800°C, 900°C, 1000°C, 1100°C dan 1200°C dengan variasi waktu selama 15 menit, 30 menit dan 60 menit. AISI 1020 steel is widely applied as the primary material for construction and piping systems on ... more AISI 1020 steel is widely applied as the primary material for construction and piping systems on ships. This research was conducted to investigate the effect of electroplating Cu-Mn current density on the corrosion rate of AISI 1020 steel in a 3% NaCl corrosive medium. Corrosion rate testing was carried out using the weight loss method with the immersion of samples in a corrosive NaCl medium for 168 h and variations in current densities of 35, 45, 55, 65, and 75 mA/cm2. The results showed that the higher current density applied to the lower corrosion rate. This is because an increase in electroplating current density will also increase Cu and Mn ions deposited in steel, where deposits of these ions will improve the corrosion resistance of steel. The lowest corrosion rate was obtained at 0,053 mm/y at a current density of 75 mA/cm2. Metode pirometalurgi biasanya dipilih dalam mengolah bijih timah tersebut karena mempunyai kelebihan, yaitu prosesnya lebih singkat dan dapat menghasilkan logam lebih murni. Salah satu proses pirometalurgi adalah menggunakan alat tungku busur listrik. Tungku busur listrik merupakan salah satu alat yang berperan dalam proses reduksi dan peleburan mineral llogam. Tungku busur listrik satu fasa memiliki beberapa kelebihan dalam penggunaannya, di antaranya konsumsi penggunaan elektroda dan konsumsi energi yang rendah. Pada penelitian ini dilakukan ekstraksi titanium menggunakan tungku busur listrik dengan variasi waktu proses dan rasio reduktor untuk mereduksi dan melebur terak timah.
