However, meat consumption is also associated with possible health complications. To minimize health complications, one may alter their meat consumption. A university student’s perceived severity of diseases may influence their meat consumption. However, few studies seem to have addressed this issue. Thus, this study aimed to investigate the relationship between the perceived severity of diseases and meat consumption among university students in Uganda. This study used a correlational survey that was mainly quantitative in nature. The study population comprised 59,998 university students in 2022. We selected a total sample of 403 students using proportionate stratified random sampling. We collected data through face-to-face interviews using a questionnaire. We analyzed the data using SPSS (V23) and AMOS (V23) software for correlational and Confirmatory factor tests. The results revealed that perceived severity had no sign...

The authors employed partial least square structural equation modeling (SmartPLS32.7) to test hypotheses. The results indicated that the mean RDC_IFRS7 level was low. The results further found that IC was a significant predictor of RDC_IFRS7. Additionally, human capital and structural capital were significant predictors of RDC_IFRS7. Nevertheless, relational capital was insignificantly related with RDC_IFRS7. The study provided relevant insights for regulators and policy makers of FIs. The study also suggested that FIs should always maintain efficient IC mix that can add value to RDC_IFRS7. Furthermore, the results suggested that FIs should build resilient human resource base and invest in a solid technology-knowledge infrastructure to enhance RDC_IFRS7 levels. Besides, the study added theoretical foundations of IC to the RDC knowledge. Keywords : Intellectual capital, Risk disclosure compliance, IFRS 7, financial institutions

Existing studies focused on the direct relationship between deontological ethical orientations and public interest. Therefore, this study examines the mediating role of accountability in the relationship between deontological ethical orientations and public interest using data from government primary schools. The findings reveal that accountability partially mediates the relationship between deontological ethical orientations and public interest.

Simultaneously providing support aligned to the needs of existing markets and that which is aligned to needs of new markets attracts potential customers to open accounts and undertake policies in banks and insurance institutions, respectively, and encourages existing account or policy holders to save more with their banks or upgrade their insurance policies. Despite strategic ambidexterity's important role in the relationship between organizational support and sales performance, existing studies in financial services have concentrated on investigating the direct relationship between these variables. These studies have ignored the role of strategic ambidexterity in moderating the relationship between organizational support and sales performance. This study found that there was a positive and significant impact of strategic ambidexterity in moderating the relationship between organizational support and sales performance of financial services in Uganda.
