We present here recent results on the investigations of the mass spectrum ( S-states and P-states... more We present here recent results on the investigations of the mass spectrum ( S-states and P-states), decay constants, decay widths and life time of the D, Ds,and Bcmesons within the framework of phenomenological potential models. We also present the binding energy and the masses of the di-meson molecular systems with one or more charm meson combinations. Many of the newly found experimental open charm states are identified with the orbital excitations of the conventional open charm mesons while others like X(3872), Y(3930), DsJ(2632, 2700) etc., are identified as molecular The study of spectroscopy and the decay properties of the heavy flavour mesonic states provides us useful information about the dynamics of quarks and gluons at the hadronic scale. The transition form factors for the channels $B^{+(0)} \to (\pi^{+(0)}, \rho^{+(0)},\omega)$ and $B_s^0 \to K^{(*)0}$ are computed in the entire dynamical range of momentum transfer squared. Using the form factors, we compute the branching fractions of the rare decays and our results are found to be matching well with the experimental data. We also compute the ratios of the branching fractions of the $b \to s$ to $b \to d$ rare decays using the inputs from previous papers on this model. Further, using the form factors, model dependent and independent parameters, we also compute different other physical observables such as forward backward asymmetry, longitudinal polarization and angular observables in the entire $q^2$ range as well as in $q^2$ bins [0.1 -- 0.98] GeV$^2$ and [1.1 -- 6] GeV$^2$. We also compare our findings with different theoretical pred...

The necessary transition form factors are computed in the entire range of momentum transfer within the Standard Model framework of Covariant Confined Quark Model with built-in infra-red confinement. We further compute different physical observables such as forward backward asymmetry, longitudinal and transverse polarization along with other angular observables.

The long distance coefficients are obtained through phenomenological potential model description of the mesons. The mass spectrum of the cc and bb mesons are reviewed in non-relativistic phenomenological quark antiquark potential of the type V (r) = − α c r + Ar ν , with ν varying from 0.5 to 2. The spin hyperfine and spin-orbit interactions are employed to obtain the masses of the pseudoscalar and vector mesons. The digamma and dileptonic decays of cc, and bb mesons are investigated using some of the known potential models by incorporating radiative corrections up to the lowest order. The heavy quarkonium decays into two photons, and the vector state into lepton pairs are computed within the NRQCD formalism. Our theoretical predictions of the decays of the cc and bb mesons and the results obtained from some of the other potential schemes are compared with the experimental values.

The outcome in comparison with other contemporary theoretical and experimental results is presented.

The masses of several di-hadronic states using a molecular interaction provided by asymptotic expression of the confined gluon exchange potential are computed. The exotic states such as f 0 (0.982), f 2 (1.565), f 2 (1.950), X(3.87), D sJ (2.317, 2.460, 2.632), ψ(4.040) etc are identified as the low lying di-mesonic states, and Θ + (1.54) as a K − N molecular state.

The basic parameters of the formalism have been obtained from different potential schemes studied for the spectra of quarkonia. We estimate the heavy quarkonia mass spectra, radiative and leptonic widths and compare them with other contemporary theoretical approaches and experimental results.
