A more detailed analysis will grant undoubtedly a greater knowledge of the system. However, the use of regular networks for the development of models can eliminate key characteristics for correct decision making. Faced with this fact, the characterization of transport models is proposed through the conceptualization of complex networks. This new proposal will allow to apply metrics and perform more detailed analysis to the distribution network; such as vulnerability analysis, fault propagation, element grouping identification, among other metrics. The objective of this research is to show a methodology to build the Vehicle Routing Problem models and analyze the distribution network using the corresponding metrics of complex networks.

Mexico ́s City population was divided in three different groups: • all children aged 4-12 years; • persons aged 2-64 with underlying chronic medical conditions; • adults aged 65 years and

We scope two different epidemic propagation models, the epidemiological SIR model proposed by Kermack and McKendrick (Kermack and McKendrick 1927) and a small-world network model, assuming that the second one shows a better performance since it considers the interactions between agents and also presents a more realistically dynamic (Moore and Newman 2000) than with the SIR model. To verify our assumption, establishing the proper disease parameters, a simulation is done for different epidemiological scenarios with both models. Furthermore, the results of simulation runs are employed for an optimal containment model based on a vaccination or selfisolation strategy. Additionally, other simulation were performed in order to obtain an optimal policy using our previous results from the spreading models simulation, getting a better insight of the diseases behavior during an outbreak.

This system has been long studied using different approaches, in this work a simple model of wealth distribution is enhanced through a dynamic system simulation approach implemented in SIMIO, considering the division proposed by Statistics and Information Bureau which divides population in ten equal sized monthly income class called deciles, which are represented by ten flow tanks in a fully connected network linked with FlowConnectors from the SIMIO's flow library. Agents wealth exchange is represented as a flow moving between tanks ruled by a specific exchanged function. Through simulation performances, using Mexico's information, a better insight and different scenarios are possible to obtain in order to support policy decision makers.

Cayeron los bordes Y el vaso ya está lleno. Y ahora sólo intento vaciar Sólo necesito despegar. Fue tan largo el duelo que al final Casi lo confundo con mi hogar.

The detectors are based on the resistive mixer concept and its performance mainly depends on the following parameters: type of antenna, electrical parameters (gate to drain capacitor and channel length of the CMOS device) and foundry. Two different 300 GHz detectors are discussed: a single transistor detector with a broadband antenna and a differential pair driven by a resonant patch antenna.

The CDS2008-00068 TERASENSE CONSOLIDER project has given the opportunity to extent upwards in frequency the previous background of the microwaves research group partners. This article summarizes the developments of the TERASENSE work package "THz Device Technology Laboratory".

In present paper a revision of some of these approaches is made, from the statistical part, going over Pareto ́s work, and the later works of Gibrat, Piketty, among others, and how complexity sciences have contributed through the econophysics and Agents-Based Models, from a Bottom-Up and Top-Down perspective, until the emergence of complex networks. Getting with it a contribution to find a more robust view of the problem.
